Relaxing game?

outthislifeoutthislife Member Posts: 115

I have a life so I can't spend 24/7 or even close on video games. I used to be able to, and I found out that now that I can't anymore it really kind of kills the point of a lot of games.

After a day at work, or just to kill boredom, what games would you recommend? I don't even know if MMORPG's are the right place to look for this heh.

I would recommand World of Warcraft, unless you've already play it before. Its getting more and more casual and with the next patch you can get your first mount at level 20.

Most important in playing a mmo, is to take your time to level... Dont rush, and you will feel relax...

    Best wishes...

LOTRO (Lord of the Rings Online)

The game is actually better if you take your time, enjoy the environment, and get into the storyline. Some of my favorite characters are the ones I took the longest time to level.

i would suggest CoX (city of hero/villian) good game i use it as my fall back game when i'm burnt out of whatever i've been doin.  with the lacky system and easy to find group chat/lfg channles you can jump in and play at any level (baring the DMZ's) pvp is well ballenced but a bit lacking.

but like he said most of any mmo is based on your style a few of my friends like crafting on misc. games as relaxing me mhe for a really relaxing game i start up a fps or flip over to CoX.

Yeah I spent most of my no-life time on WoW so it's hard to go back to it as a casual.

I'd have to say LoTRO too. Its low key, an insane amount of solo-able pve for you, not too hard finding a group if you want and without meaningful pvp the playerbase is a bit more smooth round the edges, if you get my meaning.

One of the most casual + solo friendly MMOs is LOTRO. You say you used to play video games alot in the past, titles? Nice games for an MMO beginner might also be WAR if you are into PvP some. Also WoW can be played very casual, log in do some quests or join a pvp battleground it also has some decent raiding if you ever break a leg and have 8 weeks to burn in front of the computer.
