    That reminded me of a spanish joke (excuse the poor translation):

     

    Mister Anselmo, after 20 years living in the city returns to the small village where he was born. With emotion, he steps down the train and walks on the platform carrying his luggage. At a distance he sees the figure of a man.. it could be.. yes! his old friend. With emotion, Anselmo walks quickly to meet him, holding the tears in his eyes. His friend recongnizes him, looks at the suitcases and asks:  "Anselmo, are you leaving?"

    i remember when i was a boy, my mom used to take away my pc for a few months as well. it feels great getting it back ey?

    Heheh,hey xzyax.  I'll never see it. He started weaseling from the beginning. It was more for my comedic benefit than actual hope of getting the money. But from the sound of it, he's disappeared huh? I'm sure there's another in his place for me to eventually cross keyboards with.
