We aren't allowed to vote on it either, not since we made it so clear we would vote "No" too.

Whatever else the EU might be, democratic it isn't.

Few (<20%) in the US have any idea whatsoever what this means, until it will be too late to do anything about it except submit.

I speak for those who were called "conspiring loonies" when I say this.

    NO $@$&;ING @#$%.

There are alot of us who knew and saw the agenda of EU long ago. Hell I was enlightened by a British guy, who happend to be the most hard core evil $%^#ing boss I have ever had (I miss him :( , evil is good sometimes).

I did my own research and kind of laughed. The EU is essentially the Nazi's without (base) nationalism, or genocide to Jews, gypsies, bagpipes.

Ok time to up the meds mate, and to tighten the straps on the back of that jacket...I suggest a nap and maybe de-tox...Bottom line the EU cant run the EU, there in itself is a big hint, however you may feel allot better with the end of the world in 2012 to know that the Eu is running out of time to take over the world, so in the mean time order protective headgear from www.tinfoilhats.com and stay under your bed living off the herds of dust bunnies.

I find it amusing the only counter to things these days here is "time to up the meds, blah blah blah".

Tell me then, if the EU can't run it self ... How exactly is it they are running themselves now?

Centralized laws guiding EVERYTHING in the "EU" , that's running it self.

You can try to discredit people with your stupid "tinfoil hat" links, etc,etc but really whats that make you?

A passive by-stander who simply calls crazy without facts.

Here is my counter to your supposed "you're wacko".

If the EU cannot run itself how is it.. There is a currency, the Euro.

The EU has standarized laws, governing every country within it.

The EU has drawn up plans for Military action and power www.smh.com.au/articles/2002/12/17/1039656391269.html

    (not a new thing).

The EU essentially tells it's citizens the right shape of food they should eat, and everything they should buy.

Look it doesn't take a "wacko" to see the bigger picture here.

Maybe you should get off your meds, and open your eyes. I know people like you prefer happy little lives, without care of ongoing conquests (in this case, by paper).Lossen that tight jacket. You surely realize or maybe you don't but countering people with "Your crazy" is much like what people did when in WWII people said "Germany is about move".

Because your plainly confusing in your bid to believe in a conspircy what the EU actualy is, its a load of soveriegn countries working(and when i say working, its in the loose term) together, the key part here is the word SOVERIEGN, I would go on to explain the legal ramifications and the mechinisms behind that but would be a tad pointless in your case.....The Euro isnt even taken up by Britian, was only embraced so hard because countries with exchange rates lower than the British pound or even the dollar got an chance to increase their export margins, a purely econmical move.

Anything can look 'WACKO' your word, if your looking down a little ill informed, poorly educated tube, from a long distance to something, and I stand by you need to up your meds comment, and seeing as you had that comment before, I think you should of got the hint by now surely.....And hurry with the tinfoil hat, the Martians have bought out Wal-mart.

I've never been called such things, I was referring to others who state the same thing as I do. It is tards like you that make me wonder, you attack peoples mental structure to what? Better gain an advantage? "oh your need to up your meds", so tell me Dr.Phil, where do you come off acting like you are superior?

Is that your only debate fallback mechanism? It just makes you look stupid. Or maybe I am wrong and you can prescribe medical therapy. Maybe you have a PhD in psychology, or maybe you are just an asshat....And hurry with that processed cheese burger back over to "nothing can be wrong in the world land".Smile and watch some T.V. because everything is OK. The world is a happyland structure and everyone is looking out for eachother.

However sanity is highly subjective so maybe i,m wrong...or am I (cue spooky movie and fade out)

    Sovereign, Sovereign, Sovereign.

It's rather amusing we bullshit ourselves with such words as this.

When you look down the line, how Sovereign is it that your produce is controlled to the barest levels?

When your goddamned sausages have to meet an exact requirement.

Sovereign means  nothing if there is a central control mechanism in place, it just becomes a word.

Sure countries have their culture , repubic's do that often. More often than not a republic will happily allow you "Sovereign" rights.

    A "republic" is often bullshit.

A "republic" is often just another word for empire.

Take Rome as an example. The EU basically claims structure like a republic.

    Republic structures are empirical.

Have you even read the strict guidelines the EU imposes on countries within it?  I'm sure you have.

I'll give you a instance on Sovereign rights.

The Irish for years, since the dawn of labor, have been allowed to drink at a pub and drive later, now this is not a good idea, true.

However the EU has imposed and the like a rule of drinking and driving. Sure it is a good IDEA however the countries BOUND into the EU have to follow it. The Irish cannot drink after work.

Now while this is a good natured law, where is the sovereign right in this? The EU has imposed it's own laws into theirs.

Effectively federalizing everything, the United States atleast admitted their intentions off the bat, to make a republic. The EU hides behind such words as Sovereign to make it self seem less that what it is.

This is one example of such things, and one GOOD example for the EU's imposing laws. There are many other dubious ones.

So tell me sunshine, where is sovereign starting and ending, when the EU imposes powerful laws that all those within the EU MUST follow, that's called a empire.

If you can't see that, or fail to understand that, I really don't care. You've already demonstrated your debate ability to be that of "you need to up your meds" when you fail to bring an argument.

I think you might be accusing the EU unfairly.

It has always made no bones about itself being a federal project right from day one.

They have been very open about it from the outset.

The democratic problem is that not all of the people living in the EU actually want them to.
