General: Rewards For Five Millionth gPotato User

In celebration of reaching a five millionth user landmark, gaming portal gPotato plans to award the lucky user a ton of free stuff.

The five millionth user will receive a years supply of gPotatoes (the service's currency) and tons of swag from every game on the portal. The swag includes anything from items as simple as mouse pads and pens, to even things like iPods.

I'd be surprised if it was a real, true new user. Most likely it'll be someone who will make dozens of accounts in order to hopefully score that prize.

It is disappointing though that users who have supported gPotato get shafted.

Took the words right out of my mouth, dont reward those who buy Gpots and play your games but some stranger who happens to stumble upon the site and make an account or the geek who generates 100+ bogus accounts to get the lucky one....who thought this idea up *Shakes head*

Aren't all "yay Xth new user!!" events like that? Would've gone over better if they did it for the longest surviving subscriber or something, but eh I dunno.
