Looking for PVE, P2P sandbox & good combat

Does this exist? I'm looking for:

PVE-focused game

Pay 2 Play, no item malls

Sandbox style, or at least not a over-emphasis on running through a billion repetitive quests and instances (a deep crafting system would help here)

Combat that is skill-based, not so much with the auto-attack

Reasonably modern engine (released in the 5 years or so)

    You could give ryzom a shot and if you oculd handle pvp then Eve is a good option.

    Try out Ryzom, it is probably the closest you can come right now. upcoming sandbox game "World of darkness online" might be worth keeping an eye on also.

    yeah ryzom is about the only sandbox out worth a damn
