I enjoyed fable 1 but fable 2 was a major letdown. I will rent this before I buy this time and can't believe that they are getting it out so quickly if they are really gonna change something.

Hold on Snow Leopard, imma let you finish, but Windows had one of the best operating systems of all time.

If the Powerball lottery was like Lotro, nobody would win for 2 years, and then everyone in Nebraska would win on the same day.
And then Nebraska would get nerfed.-pinkwood lotro fourms

I read that Fable 3 wont end when you "Beat" the game. You could basically play the game forever as the king.

Sounds so awesome both Fable I & II were quality games.

    PLaying: EvE, Ryzom

    Waiting For: Earthrise, Perpetuum

    just tried the first fable,

and it was great, being able to do what you really want in a rpg

I always viewed Fable as an action hack & slash series with minor rpg elements and irrelevant decisions that don't really change the way you experience the game. It doesn't matter if you're good or evil, you will eventually follow the standard storyline and go through the same content anyway.

Well it's an action rpg. I don't know if your trolling with the irrelevant comment or not but I totally disagree being good or evil changes the game a decent amount from the way the npcs act around you to the ending of the game.

I wonder if you would have the same opinion of Fable if it was out on PS3. You seem to give most xbox exclusives a hard time or dismiss them as nothing special.

I checked your post history and you seem to praise the most average Sony games while being negative toward the xbox games.

You say you own both but I think you may have been red ringed and are just lashing out.

i liked fable 1 and enjoyed fable 2 (although i liked the first one more). I'll probably end up getting 3 ... i just hope its a little more well done then the second one.... and hopefully not everyone in the village will fall in love with you if you just walk around.

You need to look up what the term irrelevant means because it doesn't mean what you think it means.

Yes my opinion of Fable 2 would be exactly the same if it it was on Playstation 3, by average you ofcourse mean games that you consider average. Rest assured, my Xbox 360 is in good shape with no RROD in sight.

I don't give most Xbox 360 exclusives a hard time at all, I only dislike a few of them.

Fable 2 is by no means bad, but it isn't great either. The choices you make don't really affect the way you play the game and the choices you make are either good or bad, there is no middle ground or natural progression between good or evil. Likewise, the effects your decisions do have are either good or bad. Or the place around you goes to crap or it's doing really good.

Some things are pretty pointless, such as owning a house, getting married or having a child.
