Soul of the Ultimate Nation is now in open beta. The game is being hosted by ijji and all you need to play is to have a free ijji account. I 've been playing it since closed beta and its quite fun. I'd dare to say its one of the best Korean games, I have ever played. Well worth a try.
When we get back from where we are going, we will return to where we were. I know people there!

Tried it for like 20 mins before servers went down. I have to say, best F2P I have ever tried so far.
Cant play it because im from Denmark
I do have ijji account and since Aion OB isn't until 6th I guess I can try this game out. Thank you for info.
About damn time, i heard webzen wasn't going to bring it over here but I guess they changed their mind.
Edit: hmm i guess it's no longer webzen?
Gone try this Game out. i must try it out.
I started playing it yesterday and so far I like it, if nothing else I can kill some times until AION or JGE.
Closed Beta will be available to ijji players, so you can try the game out prior to release! For information on your supported region, check HERE. Closed beta will be available to play from Aug 27th to September 1st from 2 to 10pm. Tentatively, everyone should be able to keep their closed beta characters. However, depending on the bugs and issues we may potentially encounter, there may be a Database reset. We hope to avoid this, but we plan to keep all of you FULLY informed.
Hopefully it's a translation error, but when I log in it says will be up tomorrow from 2-10 =(
(today's 29th)
Tried this one out yesterday...fun little game. Limited selection on char customization...nothing odd about that in a f2p tho. Other than that very nice graphics and runs pretty smooth. Will probibly play it for a bit.
Just noticing tho, that ijji is a rip-off at the cashshop...moreso than other f2p I have tried. Would cost at least 50/month just to be able to buy one thing at their shop. And that would be one of the cheaper items. That is based on looking at their other games shops...I doubt this one would be much different.
Well, I got to the 30's in the game. So here is my mere opinion:
The game is what i would consider a hybrid mmorpg. I say this because there are no huge maps to explore, or smooth tier transition and intricate atmospheres on them. The game is fun, but it has some core gameplay elements that can make it better or worse for the player's preference.
Is it solo friendly? No
Do you need to grind? Quests, Repeatable dungeon quests.
Grinding mobs? No point. You'd take days to lvl grinding mobs, not quests.
Farming? For crafting mostly.
Customization? Not alot, and dosent matter, with replica game armor.
Builds? There are multiple stat/skill builds, and gear for each style!
So good unique characters! Nope. All the armor looks the same, regardless of stat requirement.
Grouping game? Very much so.
The nitty gritty is that if you want a grouping game, then this is a solid FTP mmorpg for you. Graphics arent bad maxed out. The classes are limited to 4, but have different skill/stat builds with different equipment for each, even if they look the same. But this also is a type of mmorpg where there is no need to look back and smell the roses. It is very streamlined, and aside from stalking lower lvls in the conflicts areas where some quests make you go, there wont be much interactions across levels.
The biggest issue however is that it is just like a hardcore mob grinding mmorpg, it grows old fast. The game does not have a healthy and diverse balance between how you make your journey to the top. It is, an apple to the mob solo grinder's orange. If that is your thing, great. If it isnt, then the game wont last forever for you.
It's a vastly niche type of mmorpg. But for those who like that.. well.. Excellent niche it is!
It's pretty fun...but...issues so far...
They love getting the most out of their money. You will see the same map/level probably a dozen times before you level out of it. That is sub30. I'm guessing the higher you go the more you will have to repeat quests for XP and the more you'll see the same maps.
Customization, yeah it's f2p but...egads. The two melee classes are only male and the two ranged classes are only female.

Things I've yet to explore and have no clue about...
Battle Zones
Hunting parties
Ether particles
Crafting..where when what?
---
Due to its linearity, its very easy to find a party to do what you need to get done.
Specialization of classes feels right. You pick which skills you get and how much to level them up. You can respec 5 times before level 40 and then you are stuck with your choices (as far as I can tell)
Overall, a very highly recommended f2p title. Probably doesn't have a lot of staying power, but hey it's free!
how the fu.. i can register on ijji.. ... its the dumbest web site iv seen in my life..
Being from Australia, I am in the same boat as you Rhadoc.
Open beta has started... I played CB and it was awesome. Most fun I've had in a while and I really enjoy the upgrade and crafting system on this one. You'll get used to the controls and it's not that bad anyhow. Graphics are intense and the actions and spell effects are fast and potent. Long story short.. I'm playing and will probably drop a few bucks into it since it's fun and I didn't have to pay for it 8 )

Is it worth trying? I mean, IJJI's servers ain't the strongest.
Any Ping issues?
If your in the US and you haven't tried SUN you need to. There are a few small issues, but the game is suprisingly well polished and the first 15 levels are easy enough and engaging enough to help you understand the system fairly well. I find it to be more entertaining than any other beta or new game i have played this year (aion, CO, darkfall, atlantica all the FTP stuff)
Give it a try and see what you think
Where are we going??? Why are we in this handbasket??
Normally hate F2P games but the hype around this one has got me downloading. I'll give it a shot after work.
I am in my upper 20's and haven't been disappointed at all yet. This seems to be the one for me. It's got all the ingredients for a winner... smooth catchy graphics, great sound, and really well done skill and magic effects. I also like how there are hidden quests and side quests that can be unlocked if you get certain dropped items. I find myself enjoying the discovery of new areas to explore also, which is rare for me. Usually I just feel like recent MMO's are regurgitating the same ole' slop over and over.
