Is Burning Sea going to be F2P?

Heard a rumor and remember seeing an article saying Pirates of the Burning Sea was going to be free to play at some point, including a possible cash shop like the rest of the SOE station games.
Is this true? If so, then is there an ETA on said axing of the subscription fee?
It's a pretty decent game, and I wouldn't mind having it as a secondary or backup MMO, but I can't see myself forking over 15 bones for the subscription right now.

Never understood the fun of games with a mall shop, i would quit game inmediately.

You don't have to buy stuff from the item malls you know. And if people do fuck'em. I get an even more sense off accomplishment when Im just as badass as these other cheaters. lol But this would be interesting cuz me and my cousin are doing the free trial for this. Ive played it before its just my cuz wanted to try it and Im bored so why not.
