Just started the game

in Lord of the Rings Online

I played this game during the prerelease beta, and I hated it. There was just something off...I couldn't put my finger on it but it was off.

About 2 weeks ago I decided to give it another shot because people are always saying it's the best pve game out there, and I was shocked!

I loved it! So I ran through my trial and bought the full game and am having a blast.

The sleeper awakes...and rides his dirtbike to the mall.

    I think alot of people didnt like LotrO at first because the combat system have a differnt feel than most other MMOs, takes some time to get used to imo.

    If WoW = The Beatles
    and WAR = Led Zeppelin
    Then LotrO = Pink Floyd

    I did the same thing, did the beta and hated it. Tried after release months later and have been with it for 2 years now and still love it.

    Yeah, when I first tried it the combat just seemed clunky and unresponsive. Now it's WORLDS apart from then, I'm glad they've fixed it.

    Turbine makes quality games, regardless of what others think. I loved DDO, and I love Lotro. Having a great time so far! Hope to see you guys in game!
