Why is this thread even here? This website is MMORPG.com it's about MMO's, that is what we discuss here. There are literaly thousands of other websites to discuss other types of games. Don't pull a SOE and ruin your own stuff.

Why not? This is like general conversations on gaming; people would tend to go to other websites if they want to go into more detail. Same with MMOs websites actually. Quite smart of these guys actually, attracting and retaining more people by giving us new things to talk about.

Because among the MMORPG crowd there also are gamers of many genre's and in case you missed it it was done due to popular demand.
Besides YOU have a choice to visit this section nobody is forcing you so what is your problem excactly?
And that remark of don't pull a SOE and ruin your own stuff is so narrowminded that I can not believe that people still write this stuff on a forum about MMORPG where the community I consider very social genre in gaming. Shame we see this type of people into this genre of MMORPG as they unable to make the choices that fit them, but then again something like that is popular these day's.......I geuss
The thing you should ask YOURSELF is what YOU are doing here in the first place if you dislike it.
