Jove empire?

so looking at the map today i noticed there are no connecting systems to jove empire space..... is there a special way of getting to the area, is it sealed off, or is it "just there"? Kinda curious, since i've been in a bit of a exploring mood.

CCP's private little playground. Only they have access to it as far as I know.

the only way to get there is to sing up on alliance tournament

It's the equivalent of "gm island" in fantasy games.
ISD, Gms, Devs have their outposts there and use it as a base.

Jove space is where CCP guys run their missions and mine veldspar.
It is unreachable by any conventional technology so they can enjoy their game in peace and fear not of gankage.
