I'm not sure if this has been discussed yet, but I just saw the trailer before i went to work tonight. You can view them on the official site here: www.astroboy-themovie.com/
To be honest, I want to see this movie. I know my parents grew up watching that and I liked watching the Black & White cartoons and the newer ones they made a few years ago. The games wern't to bad neither. I think this movie will be promising and stay true to the storyline. What do you guys thing?

When I saw Tim Burton's "9" a few days ago, I saw the preview for this movie too. It looked pretty kewl. I think I'll throw down some bones to see it as well. These new digital animated films lately invoke a lot of sensory overload. The visuals and sound effects are hot damn. d^.^b
Yeah I also saw the trailer of Tim Burton's "9". I thought it's gonna be shown on 09/09/09? I'm still waiting for it and also Sherlock Holmes.
I'm going to wait for the book...
I'm actually thinking about some 3D Toy Story double feature myself. Nightmare Before Christmas was an ok movie but I never gave it much thought after I saw it the first time, but seeing it again on the big screen, 3D or otherwise, made for a damn good theater going experience.
They need to just start re-releasing movies for awhile. Maybe the studios can take a year or Summer off and just put out the classics. No production costs and plenty of profit. Allow them to get out of the recent slump they are always whining about.
I went and saw all three original Star Wars movies when they were re-released(Bastard Lucas promised 3D version a year or two ago) and I'd love to see any of my other favorites on the big screen again like Forrest Gump, Shawshank, and even some seasonal classics like Planes, Trains, and Automobiles for Thanksgiving or Hocus Pocus for Halloween. Wouldn't mind seeing a Christmas Story or Ernest Saves Christmas around Christmas time either.
