What i think he means is, the game relies more on strategy rather than just running up and minlessly using your most powerful spell. So you need to employ a variety of tactics to be succesful... at least i tihnk thats what he means unlike diablo where you just button mash
Arena.Net has found a way to emit those hypnotic happy-signals via your monitor, kinda like what Sony did when Everquest first came out, but on a much larger scale. Its a pretty innovative game, and for some strange, compelling reason, it was damn fun and addictive during the E3 event. Besides, why not just buy *both* games? Guildwars doesnt have a monthly fee, you can play it and let it sit and you pretty much wouldnt lose anything. I really wouldnt even compare the two, they're completely different in my oppinion. One is alot more PVP/strategy based, the other alot more um.. "updated mmorpg-ish" based... (and I find it funny how Guild Wars takes the cake as being more strategic than Warcraft, well, title-wise at least). Its like having your cake, and eating it too.
