Love enters an alpha stage

For anyone following sandbox games, professional and in this case indy they've heard of Love.    Basically a sandbox that aims for the player controlled world with player built towns, terraforming, and similar.   There's also an AI team that does the same thing, altering the world and similar, and occasionally attacking players.    The game also does away with a lot of things(leveling, questing, ect).

 

Well it is now* entering an alpha status* so that people can actually get their hands on it.  However so that alpha can accept as many people that want to try it that can Eskil is charging for access(3 euro 4.5 USD)(There's a differance between a business with a Cost of Doing Bussiness, and an individual and how much they'll pay for an extensive hobby).   Haven't looked at it yet, but will sometime next week or so.

I like the effort, but I think I'd gouge my eyes out from the headache looking at in game graphics would cause me

The graphics take some time to get use to... I paid the 4 bucks just to try it out, but also to show support to the developer.  What he is trying to accomplish is amazing, and I wish him the best of luck.

It actually looks pretty cool. The graphics are meh in terms of textures but the colors and art direction in general is fairly good.

I'm gona give this game a try, the concept behind looks really good.
