Best Xbox 360 games for a noob?

so i finally got an xbox 360.

but now, i'm looking for the BEST games for someone who is new to xbox. I didn't even have the original xbox, so the 360 is my first microsoft gaming experience. yeah, so i'm totally an xbox noob here.

here's my list of potential games:

Forza 3 (I'm a big motor head)

Halo 2

Borderlands ? (maybe.. my friend wants me to get it)

Fable

Dragon Age ? (from what I've been hearing, it's pretty good... I don't know yet)

 

What do you guys suggest?

or do you think my list is pretty solid so far?
