Seem likely that EA has over the last few days laid off up to 40% of Mythic entertainments work force, things aren't looking so bright for Warhammer online.
You can add this link with the rest. Pretty much, Mythic is no more. All they are doing is trying to squeeze every penny out of people until they decide to close it.
So what did that take 2 years to get rid of the Mythic Crew, Trust me BIOWARE your days are numbered. Unless there new MMO is a major hit they will all be looking for work within 2 years as well, I hope I am wrong but EA is just that type of company.

They will never get rid of Bioware. Mass Effect and Dragon Age are mega hits and The Old Republic willdo just fine. They also working on Mass Effect 2 which will no doubt be great.
Well we have to wait for official word but it might not be as bad as it sounds as it might only affect marketing and people that do not write actual code as in removing middle management and such.
Not good though, layoffs are never fair but such is the way of capitalism.

Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction.
From my contacts in the industry, EA let go upwards of 1500 people today.
