If you're looking for Oscar winning acting, then no.  If you're looking for a fun, entertaining movie, then yes.

This website is a safe haven for trolls and haters. I'm done with this pathetic site.

This one just hasn't been on the top of my list to go see. I do like to see the more spectacular looking films at the theater to see all the special effects on the big screen.

But this one looked like CGI overload.

I liked the first Transformers movie, but the second one was just a CGI overload. By 2/3 of the way into the movie, I thought OMG if I see one more Transformer Transform my head will explode.

If you've got a great story, then sure pile on the CGI if you need to so you can tell that story. But if the story IS the CGI it gets boring no matter how many explosions and gee wiz computer graphics you put on the screen.

And of course 2012 will come, nothing will happen, and the doomsday lovers will find a new date to latch on to, just like they did after Y2K.

To me there are certain movies one wetches on the big screen and there are ones that you can wait to see on DVD.   This is one of those you go to see on the big screen.    I will go see Avatar on the big screen, too.

My friend and I went to see it and we left halfway through it was horrible and it keeps getting worse.

Was told it wasn't all that special.  Then again I wasn't all hyped up to go see it anyways.  I'll wait till it hits bluray or something.

No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-

Just saw it a few hours ago and would absolutely recommend it, especially while it is still in theaters. Personally I liked "The Day After Tomorrow, Armageddon, and of course Independence Day better than 2012 character and drama-wise, however this one had the best destruction/action/death-defying scenes than all the others. It's a fun movie.

The way trailers are made for the last 20 years or so once you've seen the trailer you've seen 80% of the movie. I avoid 'em.

I watched the movie and it's one of these movies which you either love or ... don't love.

As for me I enjoyed seeing the world going to pieces and the way the story developed (without spoiling any of the fun ;)).

If you take is serious the movie should make you think about the way humans are but then again... most won't do it and just enjoy the special effects.
