Before: developers loved games and made money.
Now: developers love money and make games.
Is anyone else's free weekend still going on? I was still able to log in after the 30th. Still can now and it's worrying me. Removed my payment information in case I was going to be charged with something but it's weird unless I'm missing something.
May be a precursor for F2P. If it is, I would feel bad for anyone who purchased time(especially the Lifetimes). If they do go that route to counter DCUO, they will probably give a large CS compensation package to those people, just don't know if it will be enough to soothe the bad feelings that will undoubtedly develop from that move.
I guess you might as well play as long as it lets you for free and check with your CC company to make sure that they didn't sneak in a charge on you before you removed your info. It could be just an oversight from them as well. I remember people who pre-ordered but didn't actually buy a box could play about 1-2 weeks after the launch of the game.
Either way, I guess enjoy the free time for as long as it lasts.
