not that I know of, but seriously I doubt that the game will even come out earlier than 2012.
Just curious on what it is. Im pretty much focused on EVE and not paying attention to the wider MMO landscape and thought I may have missed an announcement. I thought I had remembered that they were going to announce at blizcon or something.
I hate WoW because it made my plush hamster kill himself, created twin clones of Hitler, punched Superboy Prime in reality, stared my dog down, spoiled my grandmother, assimilated me into the Borg, then made me into a real boy, just to make me a woman again.
Beyond acknoledging that there is another MMO in the works (beyond the WoW exp pack Cataclysm), all they had to say is that it would be a brand new franchise, not StarCraft, not WarCraft, and not Diablo.
Lost Vikings anyone? I doubt it, but it wasn't implicitly ruled out either.
Joking aside, I think it'll something totally different from wow, both in terms of gameplay and setting. I dont think they want to compete with themselves. They said its a original IP, and theres no reason to doubt them really, so no starcraft, no lost vikings and no call of duty. My money is on a sandbox. If there is one company that can make sandbox mainstream, its Blizzard.
If you stand VERY still, and close your eyes, after a minute you can actually FEEL the universe revolving around PvP.

Well if blizzard made a sandbox and it was popular, the idiots on this site wouldnt even know its a sandbox, they would just call it a themepark. Infact I dont think 90% of the donkeys on this site know what a sandbox is tbh.
Starcraft would make sense considering its still played by millions some 13 years after it came out. However knowing Blizzard they will go a different way.So they can have another franchise they can exploit.

I very much doubt that they will abandon the themepark mechanics that have proven so successful in the past. WoW can't last forever, and Blizzard will no doubt be considering a future without it. No sane company would be willing to just shrug their shoulders, say "oh well, nice while it lasted" and go back to making RTS games.
You could be right; they could be pouring a crapload of that WoW revenue into making a truly awesome sandbox MMO .. but I'd bet my life that it will have a hell of a lot of themepark game elements embedded into it. A game within a "living" world. That's a game that I would like to see.
Playing: EVE, Final Fantasy 13, Uncharted 2, Need for Speed: Shift

Yea, by millions, funny guy.
SC is probably played by more people around the world, and espcially korea than 90% the donkey MMO's on this site, and yes I would suggest it does have a playerbase of millions.

Yea it's Telletubbies online.
Not Starcraft. NOT Starcraft.
Starcraft? NO.
Other than that, no idea. Haven't seen any announcements.

Is it Starcraft?
His asking, so why are u asking? if nobody else knows what it is, why are u asking if it is Starcraft?
I bet its starcraft.

It's Rock'n'Roll Racing Online.
You've heard it here first, folks.

Well, they never released Starcraft: Ghost ._.

It's going to be Loot Pinata Online
Maybe a Call Of Duty MMO ?
I read somewhere was Activision was thinking of making a Call Of Duty MMO
Nope, nothing yet.
I speculate they are waiting for new features, ideas, and methods to be ironed out by other MMOs before they announce theirs.
Which will probably be 100x better than the crap out now and in the future.
It's gona be a hybrid between Starcraft and Diablo :P
You all are wrong. I do know what game they are making.
World of Twilight!!! You can be a Vampire! agrrrr
Only info I got about this game is that it will be a completely new IP. So it will have no connection to any previous game!

That would be fantastic, though I doubt it.
