looking to come back....

nakumanakuma Member UncommonPosts: 1,310

Im looking to come back, last time I left i think i was in around 0.4/0.5 space but cant truly confirm this. the issue is, Im wanting to come back as Im fed up with medeival fantasy games, Im looking for a nice scifi game, not much to secure a choice from, and eve despite its harsh environment in pvp, i did enjoy it at times. However I never really got into a truly secure Corp that could handle conflicts, securing its space, grouping for rat runs to make money, or mining ops if need be to secure the financial security the corp needed to implement skirmishes as well as open ended wars with other corps. I am looking for that now.

I have a Dominix with T2 caps, T2 armor hardeners,T2 Drones, Rigs(drone dmg, cap recharge, etc), T2 salvager, and working up to T2 small rail gun specialization up to large gun specialization ( thats gonna take a while Im sure last time i checked but over half way there). I also have a mining barge retriever with T2 strip miners, as well as a Mark V Iteron with T2 expanded cargo holders (can hold up to 25,200+ in cargo). I have around 12 million SP, Im kind of in the middle ground between mining op and pvp orientation, but focusing a bit more on pvping skills.

so What i am looking for is a secure home that can help me contribute into the pvp, as well as contribute into the corp as a whole. I want to be proactive in pvp skirmishes with my Domi tank. I know eve can be fun and rewarding, and of course without its risk. but I need to get into a good corp.

This should probably be in the other subforum.

I can just recommend going to dotlan, and look at a few of the alliances. Not necessarily in the top ten, that's not important.
Look at their membership graphs. Pick those that are most stable. Then look at corps that appeal to you, look for them on eve-search, see what their members post, see if they have a thread on the recruitment forum.

Then just hang out in their public channel, have a chat, see if you fit together.

It's a lengthy process, but much more rewarding. Most of the really nice corporations do not actively recruit
