Deciding between Darkfall and Dragon Age
I just wanted to see everyone's opinion on whether I should buy Darkfall or Dragon Age: Origins. I know that I would love Darkfall, and I believe I would like Dragon age, but just wanted to see the pros and cons before I make a full decision. Please people that know anything about both games, give me your opinions, full analysis and why. Thank you.

Darkfall Online is certainly special - special in the way in which it so flagrantly ignores many of the rules of what makes a great, playable game. And no, this isn't a preamble to me saying that it's a rough gem, or made for the hardcore audience.

No, its you saying that you do not like the game whatsoever...but I don't care about that. I want pros...I want cons...for both games. Not your biased opinion on Darkfall.
it depends. If you play darkfall and like it, you'll be playing it for months. If you like Dragon age, you'll play it for maybe a month if your really into it then put it back down. Depends on if you want more replayability or not, or whether or not you would like darkfall since it is a .... pretty "special" game. You can also buy DLCs in DA:O, but those aren't very long, it took me 40 minutes (taking my time) to get through warden's keep, and i hear Return to Ostigar is only going to be an hour long.

Opinions are usually based on bias. Your biased opinion causes you to think the game might be worth playing. You just got an opinion that it isn't worth playing. If you ask for opinions you'll usually end up with some that don't agree with yours.
Ignore the carebears. Darkfall is a very good game that you can really sink deep into if you find a good group of people to play with.
Dragon age is good also, but has limited replay.

Well that's just my personal opinion having played both games.
Dragon age has a nice story, good combat gameplay, nice dialogue options that give you a reason to explore their options and a nice set of endings. The NPC's have well written personalities and the graphics are pretty cool.
Also the game sucks you in the atmosphere from the start.
All in all you get a very nice single player RPG that as it seems will get quite a lot of expansions. It lasts also quite a lot of time if you are the type to not just rush to see the end game video.
Darkfall as a mmo has also good graphics and a nice world. The combat gameplay is nice and it does have options but sometimes it can get pretty one sided.
Also due to the need to skill up and gather money etc it can be pretty tough in the beginning which can be a turn off when you have limited time to play.
Personally speaking I think you should buy first Darkfall first, since Dragon age by the time you know if you'd like darkfall it will have a budget price hence not overly a problem to acquire. After all it's a "mainstream" single player game so to speak.
Well, for a start Dragon age is a single player RPG and the other is a semi (some would argue otherwise) sandbox mmorpg.I have played both even though ill admit i didn't play darkfall for long,i have played through dragon age twice though.
Darkfall was not for me.
Dragon Age Origins is over hyped IMO,it's a good game but it's also the same movie story, linear world RPG that Bioware like making. If you have played mass effect then you will get an idea of how Dragon Age feels even though it is fantasy.
If i was to choose a RPG or a single player RPG i would choose Divinity 2 Eco Dragon PC Version it wipes the floor with DAO.

Yeh divinity was quite surprisingly good, would definitely suggest it.
