I believe the OP was looking for one that would actually make a splash or has some major hype.

    STO -  hmm uh yea.......

MO - Similar release to DF and is going to need some time.

    GA - LOL WHAT?!

STO has major hype...just not by the average MMO player.

GA also has plenty of hype and has carved a pretty huge place in the indie community.

Its going to be Star Wars TOR. I do have an interest in Star Trek Online since its based on the best known Space SciFi franchise.

Now when there is no huge hype train for a game  the  mmorpg community sure is unsure of what game is the new.

I must say wow:catalyst. It will rock the mmo community and will out sell every other game that will come out this year.

"Bitch Cry Whine & Complain How X Game Failed To Live Up To The Hype Online." Its a great game we all love to play. And it looks to have unlimited expansions.

Well there are a few of them that are worth looking at.

But for me I just ignore all the others and only look at SWTOR, but that's just me.

I believe I stick with Fallen Earth. So in a way Fallen Earth is my new MMORPG tho started slightly after release last year (even been in CB/OB) but didn't fancy it as much as when I really got to play it after release.

Both STO and SW:ToR so far have not sparked any MMORPG fibe other then them being IP's I love but not seeing it spark my MMORPG needs, pure and only perhaps my gaming needs as I am sure I be trying them.

FFXIV will come out during this year, but Global Agenda, Star Trek Online and and Mortal Online will release before it.

Probably going to be a few more years, but I'm curious about Blizzard's new MMO that's in the works. I'm wondering if their Midas Touch can transcend Azeroth into this new IP. Some people are playing the semantics game, saying that it was announced to be an MMO but not necessarily an RPG. Lacking any concrete info right now, I'm going to keep an open mind. Of course Cataclysm is going to be the main sales draw. It's kinda funny how even a WoW expansion can dwarf entire games in terms of units sold.

SW:TOR is shaping up to be Guild Wars in Space with extra Lucas flavoring, which kills it for me. STO, looks to be the same. (I hate games that take place in instances, as opposed to open games that feature instances.)

Zenimax (Bethesda's parent company) is working on an MMO that some are speculating will be Elder Scrolls Online. I have a love/hate relationship with ES games. I absolutely adore the lore, but hated some of the mechanics of the games. It'll be interesting to see what develops there.

Honestly FFXIV, Heroes of Telara, World of Darkness, Blizzard's next mmo, and the Secret World are the only ones I am paying attention to.  SWTOR, and Star Trek don't remotely interest me even though I love these IP's.  Cryptic rushes out shallow fluffy games with cash shops and lifetime subs that get old way too fast, and SWTOR is just way too much like a single player game with a subscription.

    Dragon Nest, World of Darkness...

I wager STO ill make some news and have decent launch numbers. Still, dont know if they will hold on. HOnestly I think 2010 is the year for sci-fi. I know I am tired of the fantasy setting.

Just the idea of a WoD MMO gives me goosebumps, but I never heard of Dragon Nest, and after checking a few screenies I have to say I am now interested.
