I was literally 5 seconds from completing a mission when the server went down. That was rotten timing.

I saw no warning either. Warnings are good. I stopped to scan an anomaly before the final encounter. I would have skipped that if I'd known the server was about to go offline.

Well they do state it is an "emergency" , but yea I agree, a warning would be nice.

I was in a similar sitch and yeah, that's a problem.  Sure, I know they don't plan on doing emergency shutdowns every day during release, but a mission that lasts 45 minutes shouldn't completely reset if you have to leave.  Particularly quest chains that can go for 2 hours.

Just sayin.  This is 2010.
