Few things you would like to see CCP add...

that isnt already announced to be released. I'd like to see:

-the 100% skill point bonus train increased by 100k (or 200) every year, so at the end of every year it would increase from 1.8 to 1.9 to 2.0 million SP.

EDIT: i mean 100k and 200k, fixed that now

-Some space added on to the universe between fountain and cloud ring and to the upper left of syndicate (i would really like to hear other people's opinion on this subject, as far as expanding the universe)

-opening up jove space with some new ships that aren't OP (doubt it would ever happen, considering jovians are more advanced)

-more T1 and T2 ships, I dont think T3 ships should be expanded to different hulls besides cruisers

 

Would like to hear some of the communities ideas on what you think would be cool/nice to add that isnt already being planned for a release in the future.

    What I really want is for ambulation to get launched and start expanding the list of possible things to do in EVE.

    With respect to spaceships shooting at each other, I'd like to see tactical environments. At the moment it makes pretty much no difference where you fight: everything works in the same way. I'd like to see gravity wells near planets give a big advantage to maneuverable ships. I want to see obstacles like stations and asteroids actually block gunfire (but guided missiles be able to circumnavigate them). I'd like to see stuff like gas clouds attenuate laser fire but leave projectiles mostly unaffected.

    I'd like them to introduce pets. That way my ship can have another ship follow it and bark in intervals.

    Also, I'd like to see crafting clothes post-ambulation so that I can corner the market as a fashionista.

    Oh, and tribbles.

    mm this made me think of what someone else suggested a long time ago. I'd like to see turrets actually miss a ship when they miss, as well as when they hit a ship with shields i would like to see it actually hit shields and not just my ship. Also better missile animations.

    I'd like a more realistic insurance model - with no claims bonus, or higher premiums for repeat business - no payments for CONCORD or self-destruction; the insurance industry shouldn't be propping up the pirates, especially suicide gankers.

    Oh and aliens, I'd like to see aliens.

     An  alien race, and I mean not a human hybrid mutant evolution like the Jove or Sleeper but a genuine, alien race with flying saucers and tin head robot servants, the works. Possibly even an bizzarely alien faction that the various human factions finally meet up with as exploration of EVE space continues. Then things get nasty.

     

    And Ambuilation / Incarna too, ofc.

    I don't like the 100% skill bonus increase idea, will be unfair to the people that played earlier.

    I think space expansion would come from the area near Stain, I don't remember what its called but it's apparently where stars are born.

    The only way I think they can open up Jove space is if they set-up for t4 ships by saying the Jove where attacked by the terran and their ships and other valuables are now floating in space waiting to be salvaged but the extremely deadly terrans are claiming the area and players have to defeat them to get to the artifacts or if that is too similar to sleepers we could try this; the jovians have been hit by another strain of their disease and have moved to another area of space unknown to the rest of new eden, but the caldari have found a way into said Jove space and are now salvaging all the tech they can find, the Guristas have discovered what the Caldari have found and are now also making a move to grab some of the tech and of course the guristas are gaining the upper hand seeing as reinforcement convoys are having a hard time making it through the null sec spaces in one piece. And players will have to fight the new improved guristas in order to acquire the new tech.

    As for adding more T1 and T2 ships, I think the only thing that needs some loving is the destroyer. I think they should just make a t3 destroyer.

    I would like to see more T3 ships, and more WH systems. Why limit w-space to only 2500 systems? It should feel vast, yet 90% of the systems have pos or people living in them atleast parttime. Also i think its past time they completly redo POS, they are nothing more than glorified safespots with storage ability.

    For example you need a pos module for ammo, another for drones, a third for modules and you cant build a T1 frig in the same module that builds T2 frigs. Not to mention that every sizeclass of ships bar destroyers and BCs needs their own module. The refining arrays are crap too, horrible yield, so slow its almost pointless and you cant even process veldspar and dense veldspar at the same time(even though they are basicly the same stuff, just slightly different yields) for example. Its just a huge mess and pretty much any developement of them stopped once outposts came in.

    Its hardly worth using them any more besides as a safespot, storage and maybe laboratory in empire. Just get a rorqual and a jumpfreighter and all those pos modules become worthless because its easier and faster to just get the stuff from and too empire no matter how far.

    I want to see:

    - Ambulation

    - Planetary stations (ie you land on the planet)

    - Crew management. Enough of the single guy flying a giant space ship. Bring in some basic crew management a la Silent Hunter IV, recruit officers, basic crew members, gunnery specialists,... and have them skill up (basic) with you as you go through your journey. These could act like market goods: buy/sell/exchange, and could bring some small benefits just like skills do (e.g. reduce cycle time for mining/gun lasers if you have a skilled lvl V laser specialist on board)...

    EVE as is today is a very good game. It could be a GREAT game if it was to leave its comfort zone (spaceships) and enter more of a body/human( dare i call us all humans?) feel to it.

    My wishes, in 2 cents.

    a new secure container of 10,000 m3 volume outside, 12,500 m3 inside.

    Blueprint Originals for all POS trade good fuel items.

    T3 frigates and destroyers.

    Incarna and Dust 514.

    i started earlier and i dont feel like its unfair. Does anyone else who started before that change feel like it was unfair?

    1- Incarna aka ambulation

    2- Social tools

    3- Planetary interaction leading to Dust 514

    4- Privately owned asteroid colonies after Incarna comes out with avatars hence a mini game  of colonization with your avatar done within the Eve rules of New Eden. 

    5- New ships - as always

    6- Political summits in game after Incarna comes out

    7- Mining with avatars after incarna

    8- Avatars walking in ships after Incarna comes out

    9- Droids- after incarna comes out- with no star wars influence at all ty very much

    10- Brain Pals after incarna comes out aka read " Old Mans War". This means a super computer in your brain.

    11- Bring the stations closer to the atmosphere and allow atmospheric flight.

    12- Planetary flight.

    13-  Planetary colonies with Avatars after incarna. 

    14- The girls of  Eve model calendar 

    15- And out of  game tools.

     Optional objectives. Things to achieve other than roaming around randomly getting your jollies from griefing miners or amassing wealth. The only thing that would be required to actually make the game somewhat fun. Otherwise, unless your primary method of joy is fucking with other people or trading/crafting, there isn't much to do that's "fun". 

    Adding more personal touches to space wouldn't hurt either. Yeah, they gave it a prettier skybox and the planets actually look like something than generic orbs now, but just about everywhere still looks exactly the same because its just a giant empty skybox with the occasional randomly generated and temporary structures in it. "Vanity asteroids" that won't hammer their infrastructure by being mineable and thus tracked in the database would go a long way.

    Things I'd like to see them remove:

    All the metagaming bullshit. Half the game involves dicking around with alts, forum wars, or some other out of game shit. 

    Bans a perma, but so are sigs in necro posts.

    Just read the OP and not the posts that followed but would like to add a simple request:

     

    Wrecks that have not been manually abandoned after 10mins and nobody on grid, automatically abandon.

     

    Easily doable by the devs id imagine. Just have to have a big enuf emoconcert to get it done....

    1)  Salvage drones.

    2) New ships - been playing since 2003, the same ol' models are getting really boring.  

    3) T2 ships that are NOT actually T1 ships with a paint job (there are some T1.5 already, make more ye lazy bums).

    4) A workable in-game bank. CCP is said to have the most advanced virtual economy... No bank??

    5) Bounty system that actually works.

    6) BPOs in different color from BPCs... It would make navigating my BPs waaaay easier.

    1. PvP simulators, instances where you can test your ship without fear of losing it.
    2. Better UI, atleast a more scalable font.
    3. Ability to land and interact with planets. Ground combat would be awesome but also exploring, mining, building etc.
    4. Better insurance options. Fed up with running around for 1 hour to get back my destroyed ship and all the components.

    Do I think any of this will happen? Maybe nr 3 but the others, no.

    yes player will craft clothes also CCP promised to give us a way to buy eve clothes or some of them for cosplay

    3. Or maybe not even planets, since that's for the Dusties, but stations, asteroids, moons, NPC structures in exploration sites, orbital habitats, etc.

    4. Hmmm I think not. That inconvenience is the death penalty. You can mitigate it by having mods for your preferred fits stashed and ready. You know you can fit a ship directly from a saved fitting, right?
