Turf Battles Open Beta + Leveling Contest

Closed Beta is now over! Welcome to the Beta Stress Test

We have now wiped characters for the final time. Now we will wrap up with a “Beta Stress Test”, the last step before we officially declare Open Beta.

During this time we’d like to encourage all of the Turf Battles players to help us by playing as much as possible to ensure the recent fixes work as intended. This will last until early February or when we feel confident there’s no problems, after which time Open Beta will officially being (with no 2nd wipe).

We’d really like to fill up the entire server so to help encourage people to play we’ll be running a big leveling contest:

Leveling Contest: Race to 160

Turf Battles is hosting a leveling contest to celebrate the end of CB

Prizes:

1. The first 20 people of each class to reach level 160 (and post in this thread) will receive 1000 AP each.

2. The first person of each class that posts will also receive a level 25 pet of their choice!

What You Need to Do:

1. Reach level 160

2. Take a screenshot of your character’s level at the character select screen

Screenshot MUST be at the char select screen and MUST include your level.

3. Post your screenshot in the screenshot thread (not here!)

You must post in the screenshot thread to receive a prize.

This will also provide us with valuable information that we can present to the developers regarding class balance and experience rates.

We’d appreciate if you could pass along this information to other former TB players since they won’t want to miss out on the start of this!

     I nominate this as my worst game of the year! :)

     Apart from how bad it all is.. the thing that really stood out is how you run around. Now I don't know how you can screw up movement but they managed to do it.

    Wow, someone who doesn't know how WASD and Point and Click works.

    Seriously, all you need to do is press W to move forward,  D to turn right,  A to turn left and S to run backwards.  If that's too hard, you can always just click on the ground and you'll move to the point.

    does that mean that you can't customize the keyboard functions in this game?

    i'm owner of an azerty keyboard instead of a qwerty keyboard so in games with wasd it's actually tricky to find all the shortcuts :p
