What is or was your Favorite Free Game?

Yes it's one of those threads again. I'm broke sadly and I'm thing of starting up a free mmorpg, and I'm thinking of starting up a free mmorpg again. I played Ace Online, Hostile Space, Shattered Galaxy, Dungeon Fighter, and dark orbit.

What are your favorite games your played in the past or playing right now?

Probably League of Legends and BattleForge.

Let's play Fallen Earth (blind, 300 episodes)

Let's play Guild Wars 2 (blind, 45 episodes)

Does it have to be a mmorpg? Personally there are a lot of games that have legally and officially become free that are worth playing.

    1. Savage 2 (mmo/rts/rpg hybrid) http://www.savage2.com/en/main.php

    2. Command and Conquer: Tiberium Sun:

    3. Penumbra (if you thought Deadspace was scary...This game takes the cake):

    4. Allods mmorpg is apparently in open beta : http://allods.gpotato.com/

    5. Dungeons and Dragons Online isnt bad for a previously p2p game gone free to play.

    That should keep you busy.

If you ever want a single player game that you can easily drop 200+ hours into as though it were a mmorpg, I would look at purchasing X-3 Reunion (its pretty cheap now, and worth the pocket change) or X-3 Terran Conflict (still cheap, but maybe a few bucks more).

    Atlantica Online.

GW wasn't free but Atlantica Online was pretty good, in F2P standards.

Ether Saga if it wasn't for the heavy grind I would still be playing it.

Guild wars is B2P else it would probably be the 1st in my list from the "free".

My favourite f2p mmorpg games were:
Knight online, for it was my first mmorpg i've ever played.
Archlord, i liked graphics and overall its really nice game just too grindy
Rf online, you can play a robot :)

Runescape was always fun 'til they closed Open PvP in the Wildy

Tibia is another fun game, you probably wouldn't like it because the graphics

Flyff is a personal favorite it just got to be a grind

And i'm counting Guild Wars as a F2P game and it would be my favorite.

2moons.. no free game can compare to 2moons or 9dragons

but 2moons is the most addicting son of a bitch... but once you reach the higher levels the grind is so fucking retarded you'll quit lol.

but other than that the eyecandy is orgasms.

Atlantica online is my favorite mmorpg period.

Because I like turn base game, and Atlantica online is one of the very few turn base mmo out there.

Cabal Online. It's the only one I've stuck with for any amount of time. Something about is just suits my tastes.

    Playing | GW2
    Wanting | Pantheon
    Watching | Crowfall
Retired | WAR, Cabal, MO, CO, SHK, WoW, FFXIV: ARR

Honestly, have yet to find a FTP that just grabs me. They either bore me, are annoying to control, look at, listen to. Don't give me any goals except mindless combat grind or they have wierd cash shops that I will never EVER even look at. Starting out in the game world and I see 100s of stationary player characters with wierd signs above their heads and random shouts on every chat channel all trying to sell me something.

I've tried, really tried every FTP out there and every one of them does this. Even Guild Wars wasn't my cup of tea due to the instanced world.

Not sure what is FTPs are missing but all of the above need to change for me to really consider them worthy of any reviews, time, investment etc.

    Still playing:

Ace Online, Lineage 2, Aika (in beta) as these imo are the best choices for PvP.

    Have played

Guild wars, Aion, Age of Conan, RF online, WoW, Last Chaos, Two Moons, Dark Age of Camelot, and a slew of other f2p games that are to generic to remember. I have giving up on these mostly because the PvP content is either to limmited or the player base has dwindled to much

SUN doesn't feel like a regular MMO, more like a Gauntlet/Diablo multiplayer-hack 'n' slash arcade game.

Not that it was bad, just not my cup of tea.

    Knight Online and Atlantica....

DDO is a great f2p game!  I highly suggest that you give it a try.  Download the game directly and not through the TDM [Turbine Download Manager] if you can - the TDM is a POS.
