1) What happens when you are offline? Can you still be attacked, etc. Evony was like this and it was constantly a situation where people would attack you while you were offline.
2) Im assuming building takes RL time? How much give an example
3) In the Wild Server is it possible for someone that transfers off of the trial onto it to actually succeed without dying constantly?
4) Perma death please explain...is it UO fashion where you loose almost everything?
5) DO you need a guild type group to survive in Wild
Also does the pvp entail death of the player? Like I can run after a player and shoot him or death by destroying his city
Im a pvp junky and this sounds very intresting

No veteran by any stretch of the words, but those questions ain't real hard to answer so here goes.
1.) You personally, as in your character cannot be attack. On Wild your "deed" (if deeded land), structures, fences/gates, livestock, surrounding area, can most definantly be attacked and altered while you are offline.
If the land is undeeded it'll be no resistance at all pretty much (unless there's a nearby tower), if it's deeded the deed guard npcs will attempt to defend it according to the rules you've set to them within a certain radius.
2.) Depends on the size of the structure, and if you've already prepared components. Assuming your fresh, doing everything from scratch and have found a place to settle your first 1 tile hut will probably take you about 2 hours to complete (can be more can be less). Once you have some skills and better tools it takes a lot less time.
3.) Subjective really. Depends on what you mean by succeed, dominating the server...no, surviving most definantly. The better approach is to join on to a pre-existing village until you can get some skills up, then there's very little worry, most are pretty friendly to new players and you can learn some cool stuff from the vets. I'd recommend play with the trial server for a while just to get a clue about how things work. But if you wanna go it your own there's really not much to stop you, your area might get trashed, but honestly the space is so big, and if your just starting your stuff is so low quality not a lot of people would really bother with the effort. They would probably try to kill your character though and note the location (location is everything never give any info over public channels).
4.) Average joe wurm doesn't perma-die, perma death is only for champions a sort of uber-priest. You needn't worry bout it for a long long long time. On death on wild though everything on you is completely lootable and just there, you'll just respawn at a friendly deed (if starting out it'll just be the starter area for the faction, so note location and landmarks closely before wandering off)
5.) That would be a village, and it helps a lot, but is not entirely required, just makes things easier for sure.
Think I answered the bonus above, but eventually yeah I suppose in the beginning and for a long while you'll be treading fairly lightly though.
Try it out though it's a fun game, be warned though it can be extremely time consuming.
