in Guild Wars
Ummmm hey guys. I just came on the forum and I noticed the release date for Guildwars has moved up by about 3 months! Does anyone know if this is true or not. Obviously if it has we have less beta events but I am so excited that I might be getting it sooner!

I wish I could agree but I can not. This game is vicious its a real killa. I hope that you are accurate in that date I can't wait to play the full game.

Does anyone know why the release date was pushed up?

I for one just realized that it was pushed up. I think maybe they feel the beta weekends will help and if they don't come after January the second week, they can push it back like they did. But very good news if it was pushed up a few months. Says they feel like they are about done with the game.

The only reason why I was asking because I never saw a news announcement or post about it. I was wondering what the feelings of the developers where or if they are trying to make WoW and Evercrack kinda sweat a little.
Either way I am happy but that is a much bigger move than I have seen in sometime most of the time game companies push back not FOWARD.
Guildwars moved from 5/1/05 to 2/5/05.

Guild Wars is laying low, sneaking up on us all before they strike!
Just like GW, before you know it, they'll be releasing it. lol 
Yes I have been waiting for guildwars for sometime now and I for one am going to be happy to see it makes its appearance soon.
Guildwars is going to eat other mmorpg's....at least from what I have played

Urrr...no release date has been officially announced yet guys.
The posted date on MMORPG.com is just a guess, hence why it suddenly went down 3 months for no reason.
Arenanet has stated they intend to release early 2005...whatever that means.
There release dates have been more and more on key every time they post them THAN any site. As a matter of fact and went and checked EBgames to see if they also had changed their date and they had.
BOOYA!! It might not be 100% right but I can tell you it most likely is and will come out that day.

Well, MMORPG.com had 5/1/05 up right after Arenanet announced that they wouldn't be adverse to releasing the game "early 2005"...while every single other place was guessing February, MMORPG.com guessed May, which I feel was way off.
They've just updated the release date to match everyone else's guess...but hey, they're just guesses.
As to it actually releasing on that day...I consider "early 2005" to be anywhere from January to March. That's approximately 90 days. What do you think are the chances?
