So who will be the first to make a proper Iphone MMO?

It's a popular and powerful platform with a great distribution service that other mobiles lack. I've some fun with the current selection, but that is mainly due to the novelty of it being on mobile. I'd really love Everquest classic or something on the Iphone, a proper 3D world where the combat doesn't require any twitch based movement so you could easily make a UI for the small screen. Normally SOE are quick to want to exploit these obvious money makers, though I don't believe they've said anything yet. 

Thing is I think all MMOs are crap on my PC but for some reason when I have it on my Iphone, I become addicted and spend money on the stupidest crap, like Mojo in We Rule lol. I wouldn't even look twice at that game on my PC, so I don't mind if the game sucks, just give us proper MMOs on a mobile!

MMO responsibility can take a high toll on someone's free time. IMagine if that now intruded further into their daily life.

Well that has always been something on my "dream" list ever since the first time I played with a blackberry. Not so much a MMO on the iphone but more like using that blackberry/iphone as a game peripheral to be used with games on a computer or even a console game.

My concept for it would be to use the computing power and the screen to create a kind of 3D touch control that can you use for computer games similar to a nintendo DS but the controls and buttons can change on the screen to reflect like a: driving UI, Gun panel UI / targeting system or it could represent a keypad that your avatar in the game comes across while exploring a ship and gives you the feeling like your manipulating the very same keypad as the one in game (great immersion tool). just a thought but thats one of the things Im about in a future MMO game.

You would see social games like facebooks farmville and cafeworld coming to the iphone before you would see any mmo's.
