Firefox 4.0

What do you think?

Personally I think it looks like a complete Chrome knockoff, though I'm sure that looks pretty obvious.

I think it looks like a browser. People get Firefox because of how it looks? *shrug*

Doesn't look all that different than browser X, Y, or Z to me.  My firefox 3.6 doesn't look all that much different.

Looks pretty good. First thing I liked about Chrome was how much real estate was gained through something as simple as removing the status bar, so I can appreciate the change and hope IE9 follows suit in minimalizing UI.

Nope. It looks just like firefox does now, except updated to look more like a Windows 7 program.

Everything is going to that weird format like MS Office or the new Win7 Paint and away from the standard menu buttons at the top. I hate it.

But, other than that and the clear backgrounds........ it looks just like that now. It's just going to the new standard. Unless you think all programs with the menus at the top look the same too? (File, Edit, View, Tools, Etc)

In that case, everything is just a copy of MS Office 2007.

Uhm, that was around before Office 2007.

Either way I like the way firefox is currently, It's what I'm used to, I'm not saying the new design isn't a good one. I'm just saying, if I wanted to use the new firefox then I might as well just switch to google chrome now because they're damn near identical.

No thanks, looks like Google Chrome. And Google Chrome is my main browser, so I'll just stick with Chrome. Besides, I'm a huge Google fan.

Tablets were around before the iPad too! lol

Don't tell that to all the people who bought iPads. There is a difference between being around and being widely known.

Yeah but you're talking about something that's literally been around and is engraved in the back of our skulls.

    I give you exibit A:

Yeah, that's what I meant. That's the old style, like Firefox is now.

That's Office 2007. See the top left and the down arrow? That's where your File Edit View .... etc is.

Have you not used anything like that before? It's weird.

Nah never used it, I didn't go to college and that stuff wasn't out yet when I was in grade school.  Either way, I'm an old fart and I demand them leave my stuff where it is!

Firefox has been getting worse. I'm currently trying to get used to opera.
