My opinion of this game

First of all, I have 3 characters. A level 18 warlock, level 34 rifleman and level 18 cleric.

PROS:

-Addicting

-Easy to level

-Lot of players

-Good balance of characters

-Large Scale PVP/Raids. When I first saw so many people I was *SHOCKED*. There was no lag either, I was impressed.

-A lot of people doing dungeons / LFG

-Good interface

-Pran(pet) system)

-Cash shop does not turn somebody into a god

-Lot of skills per class

-Large fluctuation of items (easy to buy decent items)

-Large amount of quests (main way of leveling)

-Leveling is hidden through MANY quests, there is no "kill 200 mobs of this"

-Great crafting system

-WASD movement OR point and click. (WASD ftw)

 

CONS:

-Few graphical glitches

-A LOT of gold spammers / botters.

-Outdated graphics. Everyone looks the same. It doesn't bother me personally, but I consider it a con.

-Hard to make gold (mobs don't drop gold)

-Hard to upgrade weapons to a high +. High fail rate.

 

When I first started playing it, I was kinda turned off. It looked like a typical FREE mmorpg, point and click, yadayada. However, I gave it a try and played for a bit and I LOVED it. There really aren't that many cons.

One of the best free mmorpgs I've played, definitely recommend it to everyone. I've played countless free MMO'S and this one is definitely at the top. I decided to try a few classes to see which I liked more. Each class plays differently.

I've only played 3 classes so I can speak for them:

Warlock - AoE / Magic Dps. They totally dominate in the AoE and single target magic nuking department, and will be even more devastating in the future (updates)

Cleric - Aside from healing and supporting, clerics have a very strong AoE skill at level 27. They can be quite the 'battle cleric'

Rifleman - Single target spiker. He is the class that does insane 'critical' damage and one/two shots mobs. Attacks slow, but hits hard. Only class next to dual gunner that can 'cloak' and get past enemy guards.

Now from what I learned and read:

Dual Gunner: Similiar to rifleman, but dual gunner attacks fast and hits low.

Warrior - AoE damage, party buffs, tank.

Paladin- Not sure about paladin, but I know they're the tankiest class by FAR

    Agree 100%. One of the best free to play I have played, especially if you like pvp. The first hour will probably turn a lot off, but if you continue playing, you will have a lot of fun image

    (But you might add gender restriction to everyone looks the same, since that is a minus for many, though it doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would).

    yes your absolutly right !the first few hours can be misleading because its your regular of the mill mo but when your reach lvl later level or second map some say come to the rift go even if you are too low

    take a peak for fun you ll see how misleading the start truelly is!this game is packec with stuff

    as for the bland look its probablyt ment this way and they ll probably sell skin in cs (sorry didnt check the cs!)
