First Impressions
I downloaded the game last night and chose to roll a warrior. Here are some issues I noticed:
(1) Combat: While I really enjoy the combat animations, I noticed that my toon attempts to sheath his weapon in between attacks unless my timing is absolutely perfect. Even when I spammed the regular attack key (1), this still seemed to happen. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
(2) Key bindings: I tried to change my character movement key bindings, but I could not figure out how to do it. Is this even an option? I have read that F2P games sometimes do not allow a player to change key bindings.
(3) Botters/Gold spammers: Absolutely ridiculous!
Aside from the above issues, I rather enjoyed my 1 and 1/2 hours i spent in the game. If you have any comments or responses to the above-listed issues, I would really like to hear them!!

Apparently asian F2P development teams will spend 300 programming hours making a talking butterfly but almost zero time is spent allowing you to customize your game in any way. Very few that I have tried allow you to change the keybindings, the ones that do sitll have certain keys hard coded to functions and even fewer allow true strafing so circle strafing while in combat is generally not an option. Your basically expected to mouse click to move, mouse click to select your target which inititiates auto run to your target, then auto attacking your target while you stand there like a statue smashing "Special" move keys enjoying the technicolored light show somehow created by swinging a sword. If you cant interact with the game world the way you want (or if F2P devs wont allow Western players to interact with the game the way we prefer) why play? Its almost like asking someone to play a game of tennis but ohh you have to play left handed.
Regarding gold sellers, their a huge part of F2P games, meaning its actually taken into consideratiion during the design process and a measure of success to the deveolpers. Its pointless to even mention gold sellers and F2P, its part of the busness model and another reason why I cant play em.
Sounds like the combat issue is a bug and will probably be fixed.
every 5th attack the toon will drop weapon and guard it was turned in as a bug/glitch but no offical reply and that was in CBT . so its not a glitch or they dont care.

aika is still one of the top for itws nice graphic and addictive pvp!
if you dont like pvp then there are 1000 of better mo out there but if you are looking for a mmo then this one pvp game is for you!
Battle of immortals only becouse its new and has a nice look to it ive 0 feed back yet ive not play the game at all

boi looks like a diablo clone but it might just be because of the cam angle .we ll see!graphic looks fair in boi!
When i started this game, i thought of well, pve is crap, mobs has better scripts in 10 years old games, but at least the pvp is addictive in this game. Then i leveled to 47, and i decided to taste this addictive pvp instead of just read about it. I participated castle siege and i was like oh shit! Is this castle siege, where are the siege machines? ^^ Dark age of Camelot is a matusalem but there are 100 times better castle sieges in that game.
This is a pure pve game in reality, but it is outdated even for that. Class "balance" does not suit pvp. I am not that familiar with other free to play games thought, maybe this is the acceptable standard of that genre...
havent seen many go massive period as of late !
they tend to go smaller in scall like 6 vs 6 stuff like that!
and in a f2p i dont know how many do massive but not many shayia is one i know !maybe others!
testing karos now since pvp pretty much died in aika(that was the great thing going for it!since global version will probably be ipblocked this mean i and lot of others left the game!
Rading the website about nations and classes then downloaded the game and uninstalled the game all about 10 minutes. The graphics is as poor as any other game like gputo such as Last Chaos. The UI is aweful. I havent check if I need to setup for mouse click, but it is a bit weird. Usually left click is to attack, right click is to move or control direction and camera, but the function in Aika is opposite, left click to move and right click to attack. Besides, the action bar with 1,2,3,4....does not responding to mouse.
10 Minutes? lol Way to give the game a chance. Graphics are WAY better than Last Chaos, Double left click is indeed attack, and The action bar responds to the mouse, it's right click instead of left. I tend to write off f2p games too, but Aika really is a pretty good game =D You missed out man.
My mouse is Logitech 518, I have assinged the keystroke on several buttons on the mouse as action bar 1, 2....up to 6. It works on every game except games from gputo, which I think most of the Chinese making games have their own standard. That's why their action bars are usually do not responding to the mouse. Some games still using action bar as CRTL 1, 2.... which is even more difficult to play with.
Anyway, if I initiated the attack with right click then the game will be responded to the mouse button. It is like if you used to drive on the left side and all of a sudden you started to drive on right side then you may have great problem to backward with left side drive. Some people has no problem with that but not me. That's why I quit to get accustom to the right button mouse click attack. I used to have Lofitech 610 mouse so I changed the left click to right click when I was playing Lotro even on website browsing, my left click was your right click and right click was your left click. Believe me, it took me a long time to get used to the default so I have to looking for a mouse with function to swap left/right mouse button.
mm!10 minute didnt even give you time to learn how to set the game lol!blurr as to be off in this game for the average user
i bet you maxed everything thinking it should look good!lol go back to wow!i use a ati 5770 and graphic are decent
but some dont like it .aika use a pixelation distance thingy so if your seeing foe from a far the res drop to orendous proportion but you dont get to see that since view distance is too low anyway ,zome in on your char and vloila you got high res like any other game
but i will grant you this!if you leave blurr on at max most gamer will hate this game it can look pretty bad on some system!
Hmm, that is weird, the number keys work for the action bar just fine for me. And double left click is definitely auto-attack =
my priests attack was a toggle - if i pushed it once, i kept attacking till i pushed it again. maybe you were turning attack on and off repeatedly when you spammed the button? i didnt try a melee.
