Play as a shadow ?

Hi !
Former player here, last time i played was around 5 years ago, i'm curious about the latest update bringing shadows as a playable race. Just one question, are the shadow just a new player model or do they have any kind of advantages over other races ?

Like the other races they get a different free skill (specialized deception, deception now aslo increases arcane lore on top it's other uses). They also start with a free aug (increased critical strike chance). All new races are going to start with 1 free aug.
Other then that their resistances/armor levels are the same as the previous races. But they are fun and look cool.
You should come back and check it out, the tailoring/barber/atheria additions are all fantastic and are definetly worth coming back just to see. You can always create a new free trial if you don't want to pay right away.
