Yes another new game.

Brought to you by another indie company.  This one based in Canada, eh.

Looks like it's going to be interesting so perhaps others would like to sign-up for the Beta coming soon.

Yeah I signed up a few days ago. Looks interesting, but they allways do. Anyway, some cool things got my attention. One of those things was the way you will interact with NPCs. You actually type text to them, and they will respond appropriately. Sounds frustrating if they cant do it right, and I can already think of a few ways to have some proper fun with them. I always wanted to know how a NPC would respond to my sexual advances, and with Aerrevan, I'll know =P

The project has been in the works for a few years now, originally as Legend of Dekkane. Here's interviews with the lead developer, Sean Oosterveen:

Actually, Legend of Dekkane was a separate project they've put on hold to work on Aerrevan instead (http://www.legendofdekkane.com/).

But I'm definitely watching this one and looking forward to seeing how it turns out without trying to get overly excited hehe.

Note:  This game IS NOT in open beta, as the thread title would imply.

Any discussions of the game mechanics, etc. would be a violation of the Non-disclosure agreement at this time.

Edit: Screenshots, also a violation of the NDA at this time.

I'm very interested in testing this game.If someone has a spare beta key / beta account please send me a message.

    I'd be very grateful.

I have a beta account from the first wave, the graphics were horrible in my opinion. The UI was lack-luster, and the animations and models were just disappointing.

Now assuming anything changed since the day I went in and quickly left (Couldn't change the options or anything to make the game graphically appealing.) It would get a 1.5 out 5 rating from me.

Sure the NPC dialog innovation was nice, but that's about it.
