Finished setting up my monitors. The 2 on the left are my 28" 4k monitors, the one on the right is a 27" 2k monitor hooked up to my phone on continuum.
Purchased my new PC a couple of weeks ago and it is due to be delivered by Tuesday. Really looking forward to getting my hands on it. Never had decent one before, always made do with low to mid range gaming rigs. Should be able to play games with a decent setting now.....

Out for delivery as of 10 minutes ago. So stoked, can't wait to have a good gaming desktop again. Been waiting a week for it and it worked out perfectly since my budget was $400. Will upload some pictures later with my SyncMaster hooked up with WoW on full settings (hopefully). I plan on upgrading with another 8gb ram, new amd or nvidia video card, and a SSD. Should be a complete and utter beast at that point.
Here's the specs:
Windows 10 operating system
AMD A4-5300 accelerated processor
8GB system memory for advanced multitasking
DVD/CD burner
1TB hard drive for ample file storage space
AMD Radeon HD 7480D graphics
4 USB ports
Wireless and wired network connectivity
Additional ports
I thought it was a pretty good deal for that price.
I feel that picture was setup that way on purpose since it was popular in early 2000 to have pictures that made you seem unkempt. Things like duck taped computer cases and messy rooms. However there is clear evidence this person is in fact very clean and just dumped their recycling next to their machine to make it seem like they are filthy. There is a noticeable lack of staining. Anyone who keeps their trash like that would have lots of coke staining and their chair would have more crumbs. The monitors look freshly wiped down. Since they are white the dirt should be more noticeable. The Ghost Rider pillow cases should also show a bit more dirt level since they are in direct contact with the trash.
Hmm, well, mine is a bit weird probably, but, here it is; Case Corsair 750D airflow edition Mobo Gigabyte GA970A DS3P PSU Corsair HXI high performance CSR-HX750I CPU AMD FX-8 9590 Cooler BK019 Dark Rock Pro3 Ram 2 x HXF White 8gb HD Seagate Barracuda 2tb/64mb GPU MSI GTX 980Ti Gaming 6gb
Monitor is an AOC 28' HD4K, but, really wish i'd got something with more than 60hz... really regret not getting a 144hz monitor
It plays all the games really well, though i rarely use it at anything other than 2560x1440, which seems to be the optimal screen resolution for most games.
I have no idea , what i have , I pay the shop down the street for a top notch gaming machine , and i get one... Same guys for 12 years now , Have never had a problem

So i'm planning in the near future to upgrade my old rig. What do you think about it's current state
I'm currently using an old classic case with Nvidia GeForce GT 240 + AMD Athlon II x2 250 , 4GB DDR3 RAM , gigabyte old MB , but atleast it has got some cool features like 4 slots of ram , pci-e x16 3.0 , so not planning to actually change that.
I've got something like that : upgrade my CPU from AMD Athlon II x2 250 ---> AMD Phenom II X6 1090T upgrade my GPU from Nvidia GeForce GT 240 ----> Nvidia GeForce gtx 1050 upgrade my RAM from 2GB DDR3 ----> 8GB DDR3 upgrade my classic mini-tower case ----> Deepcool TESSERACT BF And that's basically it (my budget is ~ 300-350$...Innitially i planned on changing my MB too together with the CPU , something like (i3-4130 + H81M-E) , so basically some cheap mb+cpu combo
You can't lie to me! That's your cryptocurrency setup.

Oh wow this thread is ancient, but hey here's my new pc in a Corsair Obsidian 900D nice and quiet been running 10+ months no power off other than reboot / update.
AIGHT, I need to upgrade my gaming setup, i already have one extra monitor, a laptop, a mic, and a mouse. Want LEDs, and some cool little gadgets for my desk. UNDER 15 DOLLARS! (Amazon links only please)
I spent over 8k back in 2003 and decided I would never go that crazy again.
I did get a bit spendy recently, but that was after spending years of not really doing much upgrading (not like you had to considering most games were designed for consoles).
I ended up going with an intel I9 and Rog strix setup for most (yeah yeah, some of you hard core know better, but it was an easy way to get speed without too much digging) Asus board, Asus 2080 TI (don't bag on me, I was upgrading from a 460 GTX). I maxed out everything Ram and enough storage, and picked up one of those nifty 49 inch curved Samsung gaming monitors, and some self contained water cooling.
other than the challenge of getting some games to run right with the FoV, everything has been pretty good and my machine doesn't even break a sweat on anything I throw at it ( I run cold on every game I try). Yes, absolute overkill, but.. well.. I don't have to worry about most things for another decade (That is if console gaming keeps dictating game design).
