The Preferiti invite you to explore Telon!

Well met, all! I am Aasha, of Mekalia, fellowship leader of the family of The Preferiti. We make our home in Telon and have noticed that many travelers have as of late found their way into Telon's beautiful lands. As such, we wanted to reach any who might be looking for the accompaniment of fellow travelers and world explorers eager to see all that can be seen in Telon. Our paths as we have traveled through Telon have been slow by some standards, but I assure you they are rich. We hurry not to find quarrel with the gods in their lairs, but to see all that is before so as to understand what shall come after. Many of our days have been spent slaving at the crafting stations, discussing world politics with Telon's people, or just sharing the company of friends and family, resting beside a stream with a fishing pole, or bellying up to the tavern bar, as it were, for a pint of fine Dwarven ale or a beautiful glass of fine High Elven wine. Should this type of life sound of interest to you, I offer you our company. Should you be traveling Telon, please feel free to seek any of us out at any time. The Heralds of Telon know how to reach us, and if called we will be there to help! Safe travels friends, hopefully our paths will cross soon!

((With the recent influx of new and returning players to Vanguard, I wanted to take the time and post a greeting and an offer of assistance to any who might find themselves in need. The Preferiti was established in Telon on January 26th of 07 and we have traveled her lands since. Originally created on the RP server Florendyl, we are now on the server known as Seradon post merger. Previously having lived in Norrath, our knowledge of game play is well versed and as such we strive to be a resource to those in need. We are a RP guild, so please do not be surprised if a RP reply is returned to you upon first introduction or if you see some crazy little Gnome buffing people and chatting them up all the while!

It is a wonderful thing to see so many new and returning faces to VG. Having been there since open beta, it is very refreshing to see so many people now exploring such a beautiful and rich game. I do hope to see those of you presently there very soon, and for those of you who have not given VG a try, please do, I believe that you will find it very worth your while, especially if you are a roleplayer that loves to delve into the lore of a world and her people!

Hi there! I'm already in the After Hours guild, but I love RP. I don't want to bug my guildmates too much, since we seem to be pretty casual, but I'd be interested if you guys have any regular in-game hangouts for RP, or is it just being in character all the time, no matter the location? I don't really get into RPing while questing, but I do get into Tavern-play. I never see anyone in the Tradewinds at Khal, so I was wondering if there are other places that are more active.

BTW, my character is Dhurzin Felstone, a Dark Elf Necromancer, and for RP purposes he's a complete bastard. I try to keep it fun, though.

I too am part of the After Hours guild, but I wish you luck, RP is something to be kept alive! Good luck!

As we are a RP required guild, we do indeed have a great deal of RP that happens in our guild chat, groupings and of course our server events. We tend not to have a regular "tavern night" or anything of that sort because we do RP the vast majority of the time that we are in game. There are some exceptions to when we RP of course. Being that I feel that getting to know the player as well as the character is equally important, Out of Character chat is allowed in guild chat with notators. Additionally, we will make a choice not to RP in group, especially when adventuring, so as to make things the most comfortable for not only our members but those with whom we group.

We have our /ally channel which anyone is more than welcome to join. We ask only that folks realize that many of our players have little eyes watching their parents' screens so a "G" rated chatter is what will be seen. The ally channel was created after one of our server events where we had folks asking us how one could go about learning more how to RP, therefore the /ally channel is open to notated out of character chat as well so as to help folks feel comfortable in their "rp" skin! :-)   If you are seeking a RP only channel, Seradon has the /tavern channel as well.))

((Thank you, Garvon3, it is our hope that as folks realize the amazement of Telon that we will see more RPers who are interested in being a part of a guild that will allow and nurture their creativity and one that also enjoys assisting and enriching the community of Seradon.  Good luck to you as well!))
