In a somewhat unprecidented event, APB's producers Real Time Worlds have reversed their previous decisions about their review Embargo (gentlemens agreements) from launch to 10 days post, citing the scop of the game and not being able to give accurate prelim reviews 1-5 days post launch. After much negative feedback in the forums and from their beta testers and the lifting of the NDA, a large portion of gamers feel the Customization systems are fantastic, but the game plays very poorly and is extremely redundant.
Is this an attempt to quell negative reviews before the game is even out the door or just precautionary measure. You decide:

Seems like their delaying the the final judgement on their product, fun game to just waste time in but something is truly missing. Has a few tech issues like voip....it just plainly sucks, i've tried 3 different headsets (I even orderd a new one just to try and get it to work) and for some reasons I always get issues with it. Customization top notch sets the bar in character diversity for sure, Guns need a lot of work as well as game mechanics, but who knows maybe this week after KttC something will be changed. I'm really looking forward to all the reviews once they come out.
or maybe
quoting same article
It’s reasonable for a developer to say that a review cannot be based on beta code, and to play in a beta you do agree to certain conditions. Most developers, by open beta stage, agree that it is suitable to be reviewed from, since it’s extremely unlikely it will be dramatically different from the boxed, released code that appears a couple of weeks later. Open betas are more about stress-testing servers than fixing the game in time for release. But there’s no reason why RTW shouldn’t refuse this. So perhaps in imposing their week late restriction they believe they’re ensuring fair reviews of finished code.
Right?
another thing is that " ...but the game plays very poorly and is extremely redundant. "....." large portion of gamers feel "," The response to the closed beta has not been positive" from article are baseless ,there are ppl that expected somthing else , som whont more itp. as always , most reviews are POSTIVE
I think i'll decide here and now that it never gets old being right.
