i has tried:
Crossfire.
SuddenAttack.
BlackShot.
Enemy territory.
TCE (True combat elite)
Combat arms.
OP7 (Operation 7)
Soldier Front.
and a lot more, but all are the same to me, they suck bad, the only game that made me a addcit for some time was Crossfire, i played it since the CB starts, my IGN is Shadowman (all the Shadowmans, 18,28,38,48, etc ) Shoot much more accurately with raidcall .So what do you think it's the best overall?
Btw, have you guys tried raidcall? Just add me: (ealing07) if you would like to play with me on Crossfire.

you can try Wolfteam, I have spent some time with it and it was quite nice game
Tbh, i think that Cross fire is the best thing your gonna come across if ur not willing to pay
Seriously?
I'm a MUDder. I play MUDs.
Current: Dragonrealms
I enjoy Wolf Team and Combat Arms. Moreso the latter, however it seems every three months they put out a promo that makes the game rather unplayable because it brings hackers out of the woodwork for two weeks straight.
There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein

judging these games on % fun, % quality, %cheating level, %latency
Americas army? this game was the best fps ever back in 2003-5 very realistic. it's made by the us army as a recruitment tool, 100% free but the version of today is like 3 gigs or more download and you need a good computer to run it i dont know if it is still s fun because after 2005 they nurfed up this game big time to be more carebare. this is the best quality free fps of them all but may lack in the fun department large download and high system requirements to run so i give it: Score 7 stars out of 10
Combat arms is one of the most fun games for me to date. the infected survival mode thing is the best ever in any game i played . only reason i quit is because of like 50% chance there will be a hacker in any room you join. what's worst than the hackers is the vips who kick you out for playing too well , vote kick abuse is rampant here so i rage quit it and uninstalled it even though i was having a blast. Main problem is cheaters and the vote kick abuse, i give this one a: score 6.5 stars out of 10
K.O.S was actually alot of fun but here goes thoes cheaters again and not just cheats its lag + cheaters, it gets a 5.5 stars out of 10
Crossfire. is better than SuddenAttack but they both suck because of graphix, bland game play just not on the same quality as combat arms but they generally have less cheaters and less population than CB. it gets a 5 stars out of 10
operation 7 seemed a bit more quality than cross fire but but i was not able to play this one because it lagged so bad i was unable to kill any one at all even if i shot them in the back thats how bad the lag was. loads of cheaters on this one. 5 stars out of 10
Alliance Of Valiant Arms. It's better than all the ones mentioned here for sure. (graphics and gameplay wise)
its still the best ... now minimum req are higher... but this game is the coolest ... it can compare with other games that aren't free and could eazily beat them all .. this game is good...
I'd go with Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, Nexuiz, and America's Army.
Was Good 10yrs Ago: Now It's Old & Dated, Never heard of it, 100% Crap
The best FPS out is still and has been CoD4 (Modern Warfare 1). Still sells for like $40 at most stores, which says alot for a 3-4yr old game. Decent graphics, decent physics, just an all around good game.
The best newer FPS is Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Not much of a run and gun game, but pretty decent simulation type FPS.
Both of those are Free to PLAY, but you have to buy them. I would highly suggest getting a game that's F2P with player run servers. There is still hacking and hacking sucks ass in FPSs, but they aren't anywhere near as bad as games with unmoderated servers and games that are completely free. But, if I had to chose a game that was completely free, it would have to be Combat Arms by Nexus. Not a great game, but the best Free FPS when you get a game with no hackers, better than any other I've come across.

Overall, Cross Fire is the best free FPS since Combat Arms. Other than the 3 major problems mentioned earlier, Cross Fire is on its way to becoming the best in the business. With an active community and GM staff, no player is left feeling alone. The competitive side of Cross Fire boasts a great deal of competition and fun gameplay albeit the trash talking and flaming. Cross Fire is great for a free FPS, but can still not compare to retail FPS games like Counter-Strike 1.6, Source and the Battlefield series.
