Game (UK) CE release date changed...

I'm actually surprised it took this long for a retailer to get confused over the same title having two different release dates. I just got an email from Game stating that the release date for the CE has changed to the 30th Sept. Just wondering if anyone else got this?

I guess this is just a heads up if anyone has preordered with them and not got the email.

    From what I read I thought the 30th was the disc release date.  People who preordered the CE will get to play the game early via a downloadable client.  I know AoC did this they gave out early access keys so people could DL and install the client and play a few days before the actual discs hit the shelves.  Once the disc hit the shelves or came in the mail (IIRC) you just input your disc key or reinstall via the disc can't remember which one it was.

    I got that email from Game saying about release date changing to the 30th then an hour later got another saying it's been changed to the 22nd, they also changed the date on the site back to the 22nd. So guess they corrected their mistake.

    Yeah I just got the same actually, nice to see they spotted the mistake so quickly.

    @swalker - FFXIV's CE is actually being released 8 days earlier than the SE, there's no early access codes or anything, the box is just on shelves earlier.
