lfg with variety of classes

I liked VG with their variety and amount of classes, anything similar to that? or even less classes but more options for each class so ppl don't end up using the same 3-4 skills?  Thanks!

Also, I've only played VG a very little bit in the beginning of the game and found it a little too buggy at the time, so I'm not familiar with the amount of classes.  The sad fact is that most games that have a multitude of classes end up having classes that mostly do the same thing, just a little bit differently.

 

One game that I was going to suggest would of been Guild Wars, but I see you already play that.  Everquest 2 also has a decent amount of classes but they suffer from what I mention above, doing the same thing just differently.

 

If you don't mind age of the game or graphics you might give Dark Ages of Camelot a try.  I couldn't get past the UI and graphics myself. 

 

Also Age of Conan has a nice mix of classes as well as being a beautiful game.

F2P or P2P doesn't matter much, I found the classes in VG to differ enough to make each one fun in their own way, I played a Bloodmage and a disciple healer, both had a uniqueness, same with DPS classes...bard, monk,ranger etc..anywho, i'll look into DAOC and AoC...on a side note, any games with a good necro class? haven't really played one since D2 hehe.

Well DAoC's necro was pretty good if you could learn the annoying pathing for pet.  Then mythic went and fudged the way their DoTs worked(only ones that would interrupt every tick).  The community lead for necros is pretty adamant about getting it fixed, especially since there was not supposed to be changes according to patch notes when the bug occured.  Tho on a side note they play different than any other necro class in any game.  Thier up sides are some CC immunites(depending on which pet you have out), best survivability for a caster, and best farming toon in game.

 

I liked playing EQ2's necro alot on the pvp server, though never really PvE'd with it
