So long as it's not gonna spam ads at me or force me to pay for features i could not care less.

There are plenty of other programmes out there that do exactly the same thing as Xfire.

    MMO wish list:

    -Changeable worlds
    -Solid non level based game
-Sharks with lasers attached to their heads

You must be kidding? Right? Isn't 3d Realms the company behind Duke Nukem Forever?

Wait, I found the info too.. Good or bad? I thought 3D Realms was bankrupt... for a while atleast back in...? Nah nvm. I hope xfire will keep the same line. The website and the program could look better tho.

Ok. in spite of news about 3D Realms, no one really knows who bought Xfire. Speculation is raging on Xfire forums.

    Wrong.  That was in 2006.

Titan gaming bought xfire.  Its all over the webpages / it has been confirmed.

Read the banner.  Proof is right there. Considering their slogan is  "Titan is the ultimate game monetization platform.  You make great games, now make great money.", I wouldn't be surprised if xfire gains some premium features, or something like that.

After reading titans website, I don't put it past them.  I am not happy.

EDIT - Maybe it wasn't in 2006, that might have been that MTV company.

Titan Gaming apparently focuses on gaming competitions for real life money. Apparently, they are in direct competition with Virgin Gaming.

Basically, they want to turn mmos and other online games into gambling dens.

So, is it a good thing or a bad thing?
  • lovechiefslovechiefs Member UncommonPosts: 157

I would say a bad thing, but we will see
