*yawn* oh wow, that video was... frankly, boring, I'm so disappointed in GW2 now that I've seen it.

Yeah, okay, no, that was so incredible my eyes started watering. Can I make that entire video my desktop wallpaper? :P

Wow, no need to worry about the graphics then... "a painted, illustrated aesthetic" ~ Daniel Dociu (Edit: Romanian)

The art style is AMAZING. Did I see a flying pet?

    Good find OP.

Now on the Guild Wars 2: http://www.guildwars2.com/en/

CBA to watch it all, skipped around it and saw some little people - are those gnomes or something?

They look like they're taken from that kiddy cartoon - Code Lyoko?

Anyway, I was hoping for more western-like graphics, these oriental graphics and especially animations (running on "tippy-toes") I will dislike forever.

I need to watch that again in HD....

    This is not a game.

The visuals at 1:05-1:15 are incredible. If ANet can stick to their guns with their "all classes can support and have utility" and do it well, TOR and FFXIV could have HUGE competition from GW2.

This game seems to want to break quite a few conventions which is refreshing to see in a sea of generic, quest-grind MMOs. Can't wait to see more. Thanks for the find OP.

    IN-GAME FOOTAGE! *NERDGASM*

    Pretty cool video.

    @ wizyy

What have you been smoking? Watch the video properly, it does not feature eastern art design, after all it's developed in the US, ArenaNet.

Very nice video. Looks like I will have 2 MMO's I can play for a long time starting next year.

Most of the things they mentioned in video like one players action effecting everything around him/her, if you rescuse a village it stays rescused etc etc are only possible in instances. I have no idea how they can pull this off without instances.

They already said it, it's a cyclical but very complex chain of events, not instanced.

So things won't stay changed forever right? it will be temporary effect?

    Dynamic event system does it

About the saved village remembering you...well they will until it is attacked again and someone else saves it...
