It's too bad.  I'm actually enjoying the game more these days.  I even renewed couple days ago.  I guess we'll see what happens.

Releasing an unoptimized TPS game without any kind of hacker protection. Well they pretty much got what they deserved. Still I hope game will live on.

As you may or may not have already read, RTW has recently announced that it has entered into administration. When reading this news, you’ll probably be wondering what effect this will have on you, the players.

Well, the good news is that it doesn’t. APB will continue to run, receive updates and is completely accessible. There will be no disruption to the service.

For more information on updates, remember to visit the ‘In Development’ section of the APB forums, as well as follow us on Twitter and Facebook.

It'll continue to run, receive updates and be accessible... unless RTW can't find an investor to buy them out in the next month or so. Then, they fold, and APB shuts down, leaving all of us who bought this with a dead game less than 6 months after release.

This is pretty much the jist of it.. Ofcourse RTW's PR is gonna spin it to subscribers that APB will be arund forever because RTW is looking to keep its sub base and prolly even looking to gain more players to bolster it's line and get more $$ when they go to sale the company/APB.. I think RTW is currently valued at like 20million or something like that when they owe 80mil, idk its in the article..

So they really need to make APB look good (hard pill to swallow) so they can get a decent price for it and even make it worth re-saleing.. And TBH i think putting APB into another companys hands would be the best thing for RTW, APB, and the subscribers.. Give it to someone who wants APB, maybe they'll go F2P with microtransactions (which they shouldve done in the first place, IMO this game SCREAMS money-maker with microtransactions) make a pretty penny and update it with some much needed content..

I'd say its defiantly too soon to say it's gonna be the end for sure for APB.. Im sure someone will pick it up.. It has TONS of potential.. It jus got messed up with its subscription plan and lack of content/imbalance.. A determined company with some $$ in their pocket will be able to fix that, RTW will not.
