Error 50000. Can't connect to World Queue.

So I decided to give this game another whilr now that it's "free". I downloaded the client, made an account but can't get on the servers... any of them due to the "Unable to connect to World Queue. Error 50000". I've searched around and tried the various "suggestions" as to how to fix it but none of them did anything.
Anybody got any ideas? What I've gathered is that this error seems to "come and go" and that others have experienced it in the past only to have it disappear out of nowhere without their influence.
Any help would be appreciated.
No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-

off n on i get stuck at gathering configuration or data centers or loging in. Yup sucks at client start up . but gameplay seemed smooth.
