Concerning PVP...

Anyone know anything about it?  I am enjoying the game so far but I know i'm not alone in saying PVP is a great way to switch things up in any mmo.  Anyone got any news that isnt just speculation regarding the pvp in this game?  Haha who am I kidding?  Its an mmorpg forum.  Well I guess speculation is better than just taking time out of your day to write how much you dislike a game.  So anyone know anything?  The website is a borderline turn off as far as marketing their product with the lack of information, and yes I am aware it is still early open beta but does anyone know more about what the plans are for the future?  The gameplay in combat could make for some very intense and interesting PVP action

    i have no idea.  i was wondering the same thing.  i hope there is PVP though.

    Some of the videos I have seen show a CTF type of PvP. Each team has a ball that you try to capture. You can find them on youtube.

     

    I am not sure if they have a pure PvP battle system. I only remember the CFT style one.

    PvP would be pointless in beta because the only reward for PvP is more silver tokens and in Beta we have infinite tokens already so why PvP for more. In the live game PvP will almost be mandatory to get enough tokens to level.

    I think it's the complete opposite, beta is where you want to test PvP and try to balance it as much as possible and work out the bugs.

     

    The fact that the rewards for PvP would be worthless during beta makes it even a better test environment. Less incentive to win at all cost (yes, there's still the e-peen factor) means potentially greater testing of less powerfull characters, items, strategies, etc etc.

    I agree Deimar on the pvp being on the beta.

    Though I'm becoming worried, there is nothing said about pvp at all that I can find on Vindic, hell i'm even worried that there won't even be any, as the game stands its not even worth calling a MMO(RPG) at that matter) just a Dungeon Host-based game but thats just paranoia acting up =x

    This is early access beta, PvP will be in Open beta.

    Just play get to 25 or 26 if u feel like missing out on a bunch of AP, then wait for Open beta to go live and dig into the good challenging content not the baby steps crap we are in.

    Heh i got a lot of friends that left off to go play this game in order to get into the pvp..

     

    Now i learn it dosnt have any atm? lol guess they are wasteing their times xD
