Stuck between Opinions & Literally in the Game.

Ok, so Ive been playing FFXIV since release day.  And to tell you the truth I kinda like it and at moments absolutely hate its existence.  That being said..  I was exploring with my conjurer and went a little too far down a path.  I went by a couple mobs that didn't attack me and was at a new area.  When I saw that It was too high level, I tried to leave.  But those same mobs now were jailkeepers of death essentially, and with no Anima, I have no way to get out.  I am not very happy about this because all of my armor was smashed to crap again right after I had JUST repaired it, which wasn't cheap.  At the moment I am sitting in this camp with no way of getting out and hoping that my GM call will be answered so I continue playing.  Honestly speaking.  Its a confusing experience trying to figure out if I love or hate the game yet but this definately wasn't a plus.  And yes yes, I know the games still essentially in beta and that there is very little content at all compared to many other games out there.  But there are some aspects of the game that are good.  And I know that this is essentially just a head start for me to get until they launch a bunch more content when the PS3 version comes out.  And seeing that sooooo many MMO launches have been total and utter crap over the years, I am willing to stick with this one for a bit because I know it will stay around.  But it seriously seems like MMO's are only lasting a few months these days.

I think if i recall correctly your Anima restores eventually (i can't put a time down) but when it restores enough, you should be able to warp out. Unless you rebound yourself to a dangerous crystal. But otherwise, yeah a pretty bad thing to have happen. I hated it when it happened in EQ. Couldn't warp out, couldn't die (just got dropped back at the start of the zone. Had to get someone to walk me out.  Now that i think of it, you could try and have someone kill the mobs for you and lead you out. Offer them a reward or something.

Ok F this game in the A.  "Rep Rahlk" showed up in his shiny red armor.  When i told him the situation he was like "I can't teleport you out of here, can I help you with anything else?"  And I was like "Im stuck".

Then after seriously being amazed at the situation.  He asked if there is anything else.  And then I said, actually yea.  I never got my onion helm because it didn't specify that you have to enter the code before making any characters to get the onion helm for the collectors edition.  Then he said he couldn't do anything about that either.  So here I am.  Stuck, some big red dildo that can't do anything standing next to me, and Im thinking.  Wow, this made me feel a lot better.  This A$$hat shows up in his nice shiny red armor and i don't even get a crap onion yamica.

Im sorry, but this is the last straw.  I mean, c'mon.  $85 and you can't even get unstuck.  Its like, they are saying, "I know your stuck, but we've come just in time to laugh at you in our nice stuff, which we sip on the expensive stuff provided for by your $85 which we stole from you after beating up your mother & all at the same time, not even giving you your already pathetic excuse for an igame give away which is an onion helm'
