Anyone want to share some footage/screenies of some higher level zones/mobs and such? Or perhaps footage of a faction leve in action? Here's all i've found so far

Good reward from ^^ apparently. An actual gear drop, which before this I wasn't sure if gear was only obtainable through crafters.

I swear I'm not trolling.  I'm actually extremely interested to see what combat is going to look like beyond a tank using 2 skills and a couple folks healing it....

 

But holy crap those guys in the first video are beyond annoying.  Constantly saying "lul" as opposed to any sort of chuckle or real laugh, and the valley-girl guy that's like, like you know like... and the "nub" getting tossed around left and right.  Ugh.  I hope that's not representative of the community there...

 

Those douches aside, I'm still wondering what the higher-end mechanics are going to be like.  I loved how intricate the team-play was in FFXI.  Positioning, buffs, skills for threat transfer, renkai, magic bursts, CC, AoE's, etc. all made even just leveling in a camp very fun and involving.  I've yet to see much discussion on that bit of the game, and the videos here don't really show anything like that at all.  Point being that combat in FFXI was fun for all, involved all, and worked together throughout.  Haven't seen anything of that sort in XIV, and it more or less looks like the usual solo rotations, except the tank tanks and the healer heals.
