Holdover game or game of choice?

in Final Fantasy XIV

I figured I would post this because I am curious to see what player's intent is at the moment.  If this is a holdover game that people are only playing for the time being, or if it is a permanent game for them.

I gave lots of options, sorry if i left any out.

    Since my other account was banned, im posting on this <_<

    FFXIV will probably be my primary PVE MMO for quite some time to come.  I will play other MMO's though. From what I see being ideal at this point.

    FFXIV- PVE, Community, Immersion, Crafting, yaaaay.

    Planetside NEXT- Insanely awesome large scale FPS type combat.

     

    I was looking at GW2, but I really don't want to have 2 high fantasy type MMO's. Although GW2 looks pretty amazing, I may check it out. GW2 will be very different in terms of gameplay, while XIV is PVE, GW2 will be more PVP. However  I still think it will conflict with FFXIV. I love PVE and PVP about equally, but with a game that has a great atmosphere and great community, I cannot resist but choose it over the PVP.

    Also I have a feeling that GW2 will sport some form of regional/trade/global chat function which I have put up with in the past, and even had some nice jokes in,  but over all I absolutely hate large scale chat rooms. Complete immersion/atmosphere killer.
