Is it possible to just be friends with a person that you are completely attracted to or would the temptation to elevate the relationship prove to be far too great?
I know that I couldn't handle a situation where I had an extremely attractive female friend. I have a lot of female associates but I tend to form a barrier against all hot women getting close to me on a real friendship level because I'm married and I would hate the temptation. To me the situation is like being friends with a talking juicy steak (or tofu burger for veggie heads). At any given moment you might get hungry and look their way..

hm thats an interesting thumb. That goes to show that no one is perfect. The thumb doesn't bother me but if she has freaky looking feet then I'm banning her from my eyes. This thread is becoming more entertaining than the actual topic.
I read about that last year. She has what's called brachydactyly which is basically a "clubbed" thumb. It's genetic. Calling them toe thumbs reminded me of that Seinfeld episode where Jerry's girlfriend was involved in a tractor accident. He and George were trying to figure out what might have happened to her. Costanza suggested that perhaps his girlfriend's thumbs were cut off and they grafted her big toes to her hands to replace her thumbs, I was trying to find a video of that scene, but it's not been posted.

Oh and must say Megan Fox only looks hot when she's wearing make-up, without she is a very average looking girl/woman, absolutely nothing special as the world tries to make her look. Kinda with most of the so-called "most beautifull celebirty woman" With make-up we think WOW, without you will pass on them instantly in most cases.
Pretty much the case with anything. If you doctor it up and photoshop it looks perfect.
I think women with flaws are much more beautiful than perfect women though.

Personally I dont have any issues with hot woman. I just flirt, I release stress, and maintain composure. If I were to avoid them I would get into trouble.
Flirting is much different than getting into a close friendship with one. I flirt/converse all the time in person with attractive women. When THEY ask me for my number or to hang out some place other than where I am I always make up an excuse because I'm already in a relationship. They may just want a friendship or something else but I know myself and I'll just cut it off right there.
Why make up excuses whe the truth is always an option. Be a man. Tell them straight up that you're taken.

Seriously if you can't talk to women without getting a hardon, your wife probably does think you're pathetic. We all know attractive women whether its at work, friends or wherever you like to hang out(in your case I'm guessing its not the bar). In spite of all that most of us can get through the day without carrying on like a complete tool.

I asked for your thoughts on the very first sentence (the only one that has a question mark) and then participated in my own discussion. Tell me about your experience having a strict, nothing ever but friends relationship with a very attractive woman instead of putting on a tough guy act critiquing mine. Its very easy to critique others.
I'm talking about a real friend. Too many people slap the word friend on people that are actually associates. I'm talking about a person you hang out with...tell personal experiences to...they're there for you when you need them....add a pretty face and an amazing body to this friend and you're in trouble if you aren't single. Don't tell me that you can turn off your urges like a switch.
