Ok, so I have been around the sci-fi MMO block a little bit, and have played some fantasy MMOs as well. My first MMO was Anarchy Online, and I still play it and enjoy it to this day. I then began to play other MMOs (While playing quite a bit of other games, namely FPS and RTS games) and I have now come to another "block" as I like to put it, A.K.A. I'm in the market for a new, fresh MMO to start at and see if it gets my attention enough to want to come back to it like Anarchy Online did for me.
Here is a quick list of MMOs I have played:
EVE Online
Guild Wars
Fallen Earth
World of Warcraft
Endless Ages
Global Agenda
Face of Mankind
And last but certainly not least, Anarchy Online
Now, I do know that an MMO can have flaws, and that no MMO is perfect. However, I would like some help finding a game that isn't going to die soon, or anytime in the near future. Heck, Anarchy Online is 9 years old and still going strong, and still working on new content to try and pull people in. But games like Face of Mankind, where the population is WAY low, I would like to stay away from, mainly because it will probably die soon.
So my question is this: What MMO can you suggest, that is either out now, or will be coming out sometime soon. The genre should be SciFi, There should be some sort of player involvement, whether it be major, or just enough to make a difference. Also I would hope that it has either a fairly big community now, or that it is growing. I am looking at Earthrise, but I would like some other suggestions if you could be so kind

Welkin 4591 is one to watch.

There are no good scifi games, your best hope is to dance around some hehe.

Umm Matrix Online is Dead and SWG is close to dying cause of the NGE and SOE moving majority of the Dev's to EQ2, The Agency, FreeRealms, and Star Wars the Clone Wars.

As for grimboj, I thought I said I played Anarchy Online? Anyway, the Welkin 4591 game does look interesting, however has the company making it said that it will come to america anytime soon?
And Akiira69, I thought SWG was dying because The Old Republic is coming out soon.
Oh and before anyone mentions, Yes I know EVE has that "Brother" game coming out called Dust 514, I will be looking into that one as well. But tyvm for the comments so far guys, it really has been helpful
